It’s all really silly when you think about it.

I’m amazed at how seriously people take reddit to begin with. It’s interesting and even educational to a point, but it’s still the Internet.

To me, Reddit is something to look at when you’re bored or have some time to kill when you don’t have enough time to read a book. I do enjoy reading other people’s posts and their problems/pets/jokes/triumphs and everything else.

I even offer my 2 cents if I think someone can benefit from my experience.

Everybody is so concerned about karma, points, upvotes/downvotes, et cetera, ad nauseum that it borders on the ridiculous.

The mods just seem to get off on their “power” that it makes me wonder how shitty their real lives must be if they enjoy flexing on (for all intents and purposes) virtual people. I mean, my opinions on life aren’t going to affect them in their real lives and they damn sure don’t matter in mine.

Reddit is entertaining to be sure, but it’s not anything I take too seriously.
