It's a big red flag if someone looks down on and refuses to speak to rickshaw drivers and waiters or refuses to drink roadside chai (or, in the western world, someone who thinks they're better than taxi drivers and waiters, and who refuses to eat food from food carts). Contempt for service people is a black mark on your character.

And now you know why Pres Trump is liked by a lot of Americans despite what the "mainstream media" reports on a daily basis (they lie a lot--witness how they portray MGTOW as "violent incels"--just one triggering event away from mass murder)
[–]japadaUu22 points23 points24 points 6 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
The media have zero credibility anymore. I watch Fox, PBS, MSNBC, etc....wanna know what they all have in common?
[–]LetsGoAllTheWhey15 points16 points17 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Why do you waste your time watching any of them? If you "need" news, you can get what you want in 10 minutes on the web. No need to participate in the insanity of TV.
[–]japadaUu0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why do I watch the news instead of getting news online? Because I am over 50. Just kidding. I do follow news online but I enjoy seeing the hysteria of our anchors in moving pictures.

Do you unironically believe that Donald Trump ideologically or practically functions as an executive with the interest of "working" Americans in consideration? Serious inquiry.
[–]jamocadyn1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes. Here's the thing...not everybody is going to graduate university with a STEM degree or, a financial degree or, are even capable of going to university. These folks need jobs that pay well. The factories have seen many folks able to do well in life. The fact that Trump's moves have persuaded a lot of US multinationals to bring back production to the USA is good. His job as an executive is to run the country so that it has close to full employment and doesn't waste money. By that metric he is doing exceedingly well. I can still hear Obama's speech that the "glory days" of the USA were over and "those jobs aren't coming back." Furthermore, Trump's tax cuts are a boon for those who are not in the "elite" class with their tax lawyers and offshore accounts. Not taking people's hard-earned money in the form of taxes has a trickle down effect because those who work will be able to buy consumer goods and services than they previously could not afford, which in turn allows the producers of those goods and services to employ people or even expand which will require more employees. Note that government does not produce anything--it merely takes money from those who do...and spends that money on itself.

I've been told MGTOW in India is second only to the US.
[–]rainydistress2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah. Not many here know about MGTOW specifically but a lot of people are unconsciously following it already and also waking up to injustices against men and red pill truths.

[–]HaywoodJablomie34 points35 points36 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Of course she fails to realize that these are the people who move people and shit around. These are the people who handle your fucking food. As for roadside chai? What’s wrong with the gas station gourmet? Like any other establishment, I’ve had both awesome and awful stuff.

I've been working with Brahmin caste members for years and you get a little booze or a few hits of weed in them and they'll happily tell you what they really think of other castes.
Your original posit is much closer to reality than what the (presumably self serving Brahmin caste member) guy you're replying to implies.

[–]sapereAudeAndStuff0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I'm the opposite of an SJW, I fucking hate them.
As to your how sir... if you dont know, the brahmin hold you in contempt (given their average IQ and the average IQ of other castes (scientifically speaking, not talking about you in particular, just trends) that contempt is even justified).
You see Brahmins have about the highest average IQ of any identifiable ethnic group, while the rest of india hovers somewhere between aboriginal and sub saharan africa tier (which is to say about a standard deviation lower than koko the sign language gorilla).
Because of their intrinsic superiority and the culture they created the Brahmin barely consider the rest of you to be people, although many seem to pretend to for spiritual and political/social reasons.
There is a reason every high end H1B over here is brahmin.
Never apologize for cultural insensitivity. It's not your job to be well versed on the cultures of backwards nations like India nor be respectful of them. That country is disgusting and it's society and culture is shite. Despite what blue pillers want you to believe some cultures are superior to others and inferior backwards ones should be shamed and mocked.

I just don't enjoy making small talk with them. You can interpret that as contempt if you'd like. I'm paying for their service, they're not giving it to me out of the kindness of their heart.
[–]Alexius_von_Meinong4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
We register our decency or our contempt for others on many different levels, from the expression on our faces to the tone of our voice. So not making small talk (or making small talk) isn't the line of demarcation between decency and contempt. It's the attitude you bring to your interactions with others, and that attitude is a reflection of the kind of person that you are.
In the US there is a weird distinction between whether your service person is a "professional" or not. I've seen people fawn over their doctor while they treat a person in a shop like shit. I hate this. When I go to a doctor (rare) I treat him with respect, and when I deal with a person behind the counter at a shop, I treat him with respect too. It's about recognizing the personhood of others. Also, outcomes tend to be better when you treat others with respect. And, if a person reveals that they are not worthy of respect—high or low, rich or poor—I withdraw my respect.
[–]respectallwomyn1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'll say please and thank you, but that's about it. I'd rather read on my phone than make small talk with the waitress. If that makes you upset, then that's on you.

A Man's class depends on his job or inheritance. A Woman's class depends on the Beta Cucks she Dates. That's the truth about female nature. I don't know about All men, but every female I've ever seen has left her friends and relatives to upgrade her "Class" and "Standards" which derived in the first place because of some Rich Guy . Men are such simple minded humans and don't always "Choose" friends based on discrimination. Females are the exact opposite. The Guy above seriously needs to tell her to FUCK Off!! The class she's talking about changing in him won't even matter when she'll monkey🐒 branch on some other dude. It's his money, time and standard and he can't even have conversations with real interesting people other than the shallow WHORES? That's why MGTOW ↗️ forever guys.

[–]candid_canid3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This a thousand times. I've met men who worked hard jobs for shit pay, but with whom I would never hesitate to spend my free time.
A man is not measured by his job, nor by his inheritance, save by women. A man's worth is measured by his character, in my eyes.
I don't care if I hit it big, become a CEO at my company, whatever. My friends were chosen because they are my friends, and such they will remain.

Yup it's hilarious because women think theyre above others when they havent even fucking done anything to earn that haha. At least if say a top lawyer thinks hes above others he has the evidence to back him up. This kinda reminds me of a girl i dated. It wasnt that she thought i was upper class because i was not. It was that she complained about almost every meal when we went anywhere and complained about the staff excessively. Like they were not people with feelings. She was spoiled me as a kid we ate out 2x a year she went to all the best places in town.
Ill say it she was a flat out bitch to wait staff. "Well their not doing their job"! Would end up complaining so much they would comp the whole tab half the time. She was just showing me how little she valued me taking her out. Im trying to enjoy myself not listen to complaining about the temp of a plate or you had a empty drink for 7 min. Now she is going to die alone with a cat and feminism like she wanted.

How incredibly spoiled. I really detest spoiled, snotty behavior. I feel like people - men and women - who behave that way haven't ever really known what it's like to go without. It's embarrassing
Yup. Im not into fancy places unless the food is exceptional. Im very content with cheap food at cheap places as to me it still tastes great. Why would I pay 500 yen for a beer when I can get all you can drink for 2 hours for 1500 at the place next door? Yet Ive had people (esp women) laugh at me for going to places uni students go despite earning good money. Yeah sorry status aint important to me savings are. Enjoy your fucking overpriced drinks in exchange for being able to brag to your friends about going to <insert fancy place here>

This writer understands not the dynamics of class. If I patronize the lower classes, the burden of beginning the interaction is on me. If I begin it, then class is maintained, and order is bolstered. This is the natural order of things, that the greater shall have control over the frame of communication with the lesser. It is only when the lower classes get uppity with thinking they can accost my person uninvited that the line has been crossed. Two fortnights ago, a Mrs. Bothby, a scolding and shrewish woman of ponderous comportment, made the mistake of crossing me in a forward manner. I alerted the parsons and had her in a wheelbarrow brought, stripped naked to her smock, and hoisted on the ducking stool for her insolence. In the twilight, after a day in the stool, she cried out to me, but I said naught as I calmly sipped my roadside chai and chatted with a passing rickshaw driver.
[–]FewActinomycetaceae07 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
well written, 18th century prose
But you are correct, about who should start the interaction, as the lower class is unsure whether you want to communicate at all, it actually shows that the upper class person has good manners when he goes through the social niceties.

Some awful woman once entered my life. She was trailer park trash and only trash people look down on the blue collar. Actually, there are so many more wealthy blue collar people than cube crunchers. Only a fool who has no clout in the white collar world would act like the white collar world is superior. It's a frustrating attitude to hear from anybody, but women seem more prone to voicing it this way.

Yeah my former mother in law looked down in people of lower status and talked them differently. There are very fee people I just flat out didn't like but snobby people are one of them and she is no exception. The ex would still be kind to common folk but she had other quirks. She didn't trust people from certain countries... had certain prejudice like against Filipino and Chinese from mainland China. And yet she thought my dad was racist because he always assumed the fine Chinese hair would be courses and was surprised how soft it was . Isn't that just a bit of ignorance? Lol. That and she was always saying us North Americans are so cold and don't reach out or be very hospitable .. etc
