I hope people are.. this will probably get deleted from unpopular opinions. Regardless, I agree, anyone can be labeled ‘abusive’, ‘violent’, etc for things that are not even close to those categories, and get their live’s destroyed.

...and dare you ask what exactly he did. A girl I knew told her es boyfriend would have been mentally abusive. Opposite to all the others who gave her the wanted pity, I dared to ask, what exactly he would have done that she considered mental abuse. The answer was she would not be able to talk about it yet. She never talked to me again after that. My guess all that mental abuse talk was just made up nonsense to get full custody of the child.

4 years ago my exwife told me she didn't love me anymore. I was like cool. We talked about it when we first got together. It's better to end the relationship than to drag it on and fight and hate each other. I found a place and only took my uniforms and truck. People asked what happened and I said "it just didn't work out ". Months later she tells me her brother wants to fight me and everybody at her work hates me. Somehow it went from a mutual breakup to, I was distant to, I scared her to, I raped her to, I tried to kill her. Her little circle of people can believe whatever they want but when they are actually physically in contact with me all I got to do is ask them which one of us is/has always been calm and logical and which one is mentally unstable and suicidal. Even her brother and cousin just admit it and back the fuck off.

Anytime a woman tries to cast herself as the victim, e.g., saying her partner is abusive, she was raped, etc., I immediately disregard her. Unless a male eye witness can competently confirm anything a woman claims, I disbelieve the woman.

There are a whole bunch of words that are being redefined, not just abuse/abusive. Like violence means someone disagrees with you and says so in no uncertain terms; rape means you decided later that it was a bad idea; conspiracy (esp. referring to Covid19) meaning you don't agree with the current zeitgeist; offended see violence; victim means you didn't do as well as someone else. The list goes on.

And the guy is right. It is disrespectful and callous to people who suffered real violence; to women who were raped; people who really are shafted by government scams; people who are really really put down; and people who genuinely are victimised.
