I still can't understand how they caught him. They supposedly tested the mother of his earlier 2 kids, but that can't prove anything on its own.

First why would they keep taking DNA tests of other unrelated people after the first clearly showed he wasn't the father (as it was the dopplegangers DNA).

Second, if they then decided to take his 2 existing kids DNA's also (which is already weird and unwarranted) what would that really prove if they came fake ? Certainly it's much more likely and common than women have affaires and lie about the paternity (something like 18% of families are like that in the USA).

Third: Since it makes absolutely no sense to test the mother of his 2 earlier kids without testing the kids I'll assume they tested the kids first. But even then, this test does prove that the mother of the kids is actually the mother, but what was the hypothesis at this point ? That the hospital was so incompetent that they switched their kids twice which made the father not match with the kid ? And even then, after the test came positive for the mother and her kids, again, WHY ON EARTH DID THEY ASSUME THERE WAS A DOPPLEGANGER INSTEAD OF JUST RESORTING TO THE MOST OBVIOUS ANSWER WHICH IS, THE MOTHER OF THE 2 EARLIER SONS HAD AFFAIRES.
