Women are strange like that. I dated a girl in college who was a pretty decent person, I just felt that she wasn't exactly what I wanted in my life and even though she was the one who broke up with me I felt that was a good decision and did not protest, just cut contact for the time being.

About a year later she hits me up and we talk for a few months, I allow it because she was genuinely a fun person to talk to. She wanted to meet up and hang out but I always said no without giving her a reason, but the reason always was that I did not want to develop feelings for her again. One time she even started crying when I told her I would rather not meet up.

She wasn't psycho or crazy but all women for some reason can't accept the fact that they aren't wanted or missed by ex lovers. She has other old boyfriends who pursue her like it's their life goal so when she broke up with me and didn't get the same response after it must have been a big blow to her self esteem. I mean I'm not even the most attractive or funniest or outgoing out of all her ex's so I have no idea why she keeps trying to get back together, but I am like 80% sure if I told her I want to get back together (I never would) she would drop her current boyfriend for that. She even randomly would ask me when I plan on settling down and getting married. I say to her, never.
