Pretty much. You mention you don't trust women.
Woman agrees with you and tells you the truth.
You get shocked and think she's different. You can trust her. You marry her. She is the one.
She thinks "Gotcha."

Some mgtow who go their own way still have the urge to defend the philosophy even though people not understanding it won't impact their own lifestyle.
It's no different to the woman acting like a chameleon here. I've been told by married women that they respect me being mgtow and that they hope one day I'll find someone so I can be happy.
If you look behind the lines in that example, she assumes I'm unhappy. It's just an ego trip. That's the benefit she gains.

Regardless of her motivations, she is telling women the cold hard truth. And they are ignoring her. She has hardly any followers. Guys already know the truth and women are putting their fingers in their ears.
Here's a recent story by her on the Wall.
Now what inspired me to write this article? To piss people off because I’m bored? Not quite. I recently got dinner with a wonderful female friend. She is 31, highly successful, beautiful and family-oriented. A true gem, a man´s dream. You know what she told me?
“Maria, it’s too late for me. I waited too long, I will not be able to get the man I want. I will have to settle for someone aged 50 to 60 and it sucks. Don’t repeat my mistakes. Take your search seriously. Promise me to go to events with eligible bachelors at least twice a month.” https://medium.com/t/@pinkhedonist/wall-girlfriends-7dc0a69b2fd8

What if the woman is actually proper, loves her husband & children genuinely and wants to stick it out like how couples used to do it back in the good old times? I don't see anything wrong with that.. as it could work out.
But sadly today it appears women like that are dwindling into smaller and smaller numbers. They are probably still around, small percentage like maybe 1-2%

In a lot of ways. I tend to live the life but not tell people what it is called or explain it unless it is online in a MGTOW forum.
I feel I don't have to explain myself to anyone. It is none of their business and I don't care or want to here what they think. I know how the other side thinks and I am sick of it.
If I do explain the life or philosophy it is to persuade another man to go there own way. I try to do this without saying what it is.
Most of those men though already are without even realizing it.

[–]smart3435 points36 points37 points 6 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Do NOT get married. Why would you sign a contract whereby the other party BENEFITS from BREAKING the contract?!
It's like signing a lease with a landlord on a commercial property and in the contract there is a clause that says the landlord can kick you out if another tenant comes along offering more money. Would you sign that contract?
[–]Dangerous-Dish27 points28 points29 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
That's not the complete clause. Completing it for you.
In the rental agreement, there is a clause that says the landlord can kick you out FOR NO REASON, AND you have to keep paying the landowner 2/3 of your income, so the landlord's lifestyle is not adversely impacted.
That's the modern no-fault eviction.

MGTOW is a minority.
the majority of people in society believe that it is not a voluntary choice whether or not men are going to carry the weight of women and children. in fact, most people believe that it’s a obligation/ duty that comes with being born male, and that women are entitled to this support as a boon that comes from being born female

Feminists have worked to give women a better deal: marriage to the state. They are pushing for more and more beta bux (ie tax dollars) without having to do anything beyond existing with a vagina.
At this point, having to exit the cock carousel and not be a bitch to one man so he can provide for you is literally oppression.

Acknowledge both that she is stating the truth and to still avoid falling for the unicorn trap. MGTOW can actually utilize women like her. Blue pillers typically ignore men who say redpilled content, but will listen to tradthots who say the exact same thing. The trick is we need to ensure that these men do not fall for the unicorn trap. That's easier said than done, but it's still a better alternative than just having more ignorant blue pillers just walk straight into the marriage slaughterhouse.

Yep and men are on to the con. Marriage is a shit deal. Marry a hard core feminist you will be in constant competition with her at home. Your home is no sanctuary. She will never be happy unless she is in charge. Once in charge she will never be happy with your performance: how much work you do, how well you do it and how much money you make. It will always be rated as sub par no matter what you do. That way she retains power over you
Tradcon chicks are just flip sides of the same coin. See for women to sit back and be the happy home maker the man has to bring in the money in mercilessly competitive world. When he can no longer do so, she will dump him via no fault and divorce rape him while banging someone else if she is still young enough. Because she has never worked, that alimony and child support will be brutal.
Either way you nothing more that an ATM machine and a labor device.

marriage is beneficial to the weaker of the two parties, and that could be the woman or the man. strong men are leaving the plantation because the weak women are too deceptive, its too difficult to and too risky to bet on them. strong women are leaving for essentially exactly the same reasons. not every single man is strong, and not every single woman is weak. we cant be dealing in absolutes if we want to really discuss the issue.
this initial exodus of strong/competent people leaves the active dating pool dominated by the weakest, most manipulative, and duplicitous members of both genders. this causes even more of the strong men and women to exit the dating pool. its a downward spiral.
im not sure i know the answer, but the entire system is set up to be self defeating. it would be as if the courts suddenly released all prisoners, and began rewarding crime. you would see a similar situation of decent people banding together to reject this new crime filled society, and trying to separate and protect itself from it - a civilians going our own way CGOOW.

[–]KabyBlue1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
marriage is beneficial to the weaker of the two parties, and that could be the woman or the man.
Respectfully disagree. Regardless of who the "weaker" partner is, the law is the law and as it stands today in this gynocentric western society of ours (as well as many parts of Europe), the marital courts and government have the woman's back at the man's mercy. The courts don't care if you are a weak man when they demand you pay alimony and child support.

Marriage rates continuous drop the last 100 years. Divorce rates steadying at 50%.
[–]KabyBlue3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Divorce rates steadying at 50%.
Divorce rates are likely much higher (closer to 60%+) as many people aren't aware that certain states (such as California and Louisiana) don't report their divorce stats to the US Census Bureau. Here is a recent CDC image of the divorce stats as of 2011.
Also, the average marriage in the US as of 2014 last 8 years (just enough time to have kids and divorce the husband for 10+ of child support and alimony).
[–]hrm08940 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Am I reading that right? The CDC image is saying divorce rates have gone down since the 90s?
[–]KabyBlue0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They have more or less stabilized after the unusually large amount of divorces in the 1980-90s. So yes the rates are going down but not because people are staying together longer. It's mainly because Millennials and Gen Xs are waiting longer to marry (especially with women moving up the cooperate ladder) and more young men are choosing to avoid marriage all together. Can't divorce if you need married in the first place.

You're on to something important here, something that most MGTOWs miss. Yes, it's women's nature to seek resources from men by any means necessary, but we (men) realized this a long time ago and designed systems (e.g., patriarchy) to manage this nature, and we had it pretty well handled until quite recently, historically speaking. Women didn't fundamentally become any more unruly over the last century, we as men just slacked off in maintaining their training.

As an attorney, I can recommend marriage IF there is a prenup that clearly eliminates any alimony. There is one key benefit to men in marriage and that is survivor rights. If your wife is struck by the UPS car, money, if it is your mistress/girlfriend/side piece no money.

I dont care how good of a lawyer you are, you depend on a feminist 3rd party to determine what he decides as he is the king of his domain and it is his court, and no lawyer is going to fight extremely hard to the level of pissing of a judge for one client if he rules against the language of the prenup, I am sure he will also have case law his clerk can cite if an attorney escalates but why would he, there is no incentive, so no, no matter what the language, the JUDGE IS THE FINAL ARBITRATOR of "justice". What if the woman is hot or in tears, you think the judge wont whiteknight for them, all family court judges have to be feminist

If your wife is struck by the UPS car, money, if it is your mistress/girlfriend/side piece no money.
This can be fixed without marriage. Ever heard of a will?
[–]Lurkingnopost1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
You cannot transfer in a will the right to sue someone. You can only transfer property in a will.
Lose the "have you ever heard" tone. You sound like a jackass. And it sounds even worse when you are ignorant.

. You can only transfer property in a will.
Which is what I was talking about.
[–]Lurkingnopost1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
No it isn't. Why lie? We can all see your post. You were raising this issue during the snarky post. I mentioned survivor rights, not property. Get the sand out of your vagina.

On a serious note, it is difficult to trust prenuptial agreements when the rich and famous men (who can afford high powered attorneys) get their pre-nups machine gunned to Swiss cheese.

They are not that uncommon. Even if you are not wealthy, they can be useful for the reason I posted.

Considering you're going to find a large group of divorced men in this sub, many of whom had a prenup thrown out, you're not gonna be selling your pro-marriage bullshit around here.
Also, Post Nose lawyer Goy
