This is sad. In a way, she was lied to in a similar way that we were. She didn’t actually want to be a “tough career woman”, she wanted to be an educated “strong mother”. The latter being much more attractive - and the only people attaching negativity to that are other women. She probably would have been a great mother as a statement like this is truly genuine.
