But little do you know she has already checked out of the marriage and is just doing this so she could tell the kids"I tried" 12. Having to leave your home and your family because she supposedly wants you to work on yourself. This upheaval comes with a lot of cost both mentally, physically, financially. (But that smart little voice in your head knows it is probably over and she just wants to test the water solo to make sure her SMPV is still high enough to to kick you to the curb. 13. The divorce papers come your way and be ready to help some lawyers buy some expensive toys. 14. The kick in the balls when you lose your home, assets, a big part of your pension. You will be handed down crippling child support payments and the children you so love but will hardly ever get to see.
