Orwell was a democratic socialist. His 1984 book wasn't even inspired by the Stalinist Soviet regime, he wrote this book while being exhausted with the paranoid atmosphere at the BBC company he worked for back in the Cold War days. His quote about women is undoubtedly correct, but MGTOWs should stop pretending like Orwell was "our" guy.

Generally women will take the lead in pushing such obviously destructive activities because, lets face it, they aren't the ones who bled and died for the nation/society they will willfully destroy. And when it comes time to rebuild that society it is the men who will suffer and sacrifice to make it a place to live and prosper.

Is it me or when Orwell describes the "anti sex league" is there some sort of parallel here with feminists? here is Orwell's wiki that talks about his personal relationships. He seemed to have insecurities with women, but he was also described as a womanizer, who was twice married. that said, he seems very balanced in all his other observations about human nature and society. So it seems he was able to make the statement above about human nature with an objective, logical mind, rather than one based on an emotional unsubstantiated experience.
