(That said, holy shit has my mental health improved since my divorce, and then later going monk mode. Being in a relationship with a woman especially cohabitation is anti-MGTOW. Now, nobody is perfect, and we all make mistakes, that’s why I feel like we should support each other either way.
People confuse MGTOW with PUA and the Red Pill. Either way being 100% physically, financially, and emotionally independent is what’s all about for me, and I live that truth everyday. I don’t even hide my identity on this SUB.
Some guys defend the idea of P&D but in this day in age it doesn’t pass the risk vs reward test for me, especially now that I’m rich. It’s a no brainer but to each their own!

I agree 100+% with your more detailed comment. Like so many other men, in my blue pill days, I went beyond the stupidity of cohabitation, and did the extra-level stupidity of getting married (hell no, never again). After reading about PUA and red pill, and then MGTOW, monk mode just seemed the best option for me personally. I was just recognizing in my comment that MGTOW has non-monk options, for those men willing to take more risks, and more willing to put up with time-wasting and money-wasting female bullsh*t. But the risks - STDs, false rape accusations, emotional stress from nagging/bitching/complaining, getting injured or killed by the husband/boyfriend she never told you about, really we already have a list that's 100s of pages long [the content and comments on the top posts here on this subreddit!] - don't seem worthwhile. Not to me. If I change my mind in the future, I hope a quick dose of r/MGTOW (or wherever we relocate to post-ban) will put me back on the right path. But I guess I kinda think I'm far enough along the path to not need that reinforcement. Maybe I'm just hanging out for the LOLs at this point. :-) Plenty of them to be had.
edit - And I also keep hanging out for the inspiration to be better. Lots of inspiring stories here that help motivate me to improve myself.

Not exactly (in my view). I'm married, but would not seek a replacement if she were no longer there. However, she is subservient and submissive, hands her earnings over to me for management, is resistant to making purchases that are not essential, asks permission to do anything outside of routine, and abides by all my decisions. Still has a tendency to complain, but she is manageable. I travel the world extensively in my work and so have oodles of time and independence to myself. And back at home it is much the same. We occasionally share in an activity, but not very often. It is a manageable situation - but even within this, I am quite MGTOW.
