I love the message, it reminds me of all the times I've went and did something alone and got shamed for it. I've had people say "You came out alone, that's weird and kinda sad." Even though it was something I intentionally chose to do. Some people will never get it. Now that I'm a little older people still occasionally invite me to functions and sometimes I'll go but most of the time I'd rather not and of course I get shamed for that too but idgaf anymore. If someone wants to give me shit about not going to their BBQ that I never said I'd attend in the first place I just won't have them in my life anymore and it doesn't bother me the slightest.

I don't mind doing things alone but I really do hate it when I go do something cool and can't take my kids along. I recently took my kids to see a grove of Giant Sequoias. We went and saw the General Sherman Tree which is the largest tree and the largest living organism on earth. Watching my two kids reaction to seeing a tree that big for the first time was an experience that I will never forget. Having done it alone would have been meaningless. I still remember my dad taking me and my brother to see those trees for the first time and I'm happy I got to do the same thing despite not having the time with my kids that I would really like. I'm planning a trip to the White Mountains in California to see a grove of Bristlecone Pines, some of which are over 4,000 years old and still alive. Think about watching that thought entering a 14 and a 10 year old's mind. Touching a living tree that is 2,000 years older than Christ.

The only people ever worth doing things with are your children if you have any and your parents. It is quite literally the only reason and meaning in why I am on this earth right now. There is little purpose in life for me outside of that.

I wouldn't advise against going to do things with good friends, but it's a distant second IMO. As for doing things with a female romantic partner, eh I wouldn't really recommend putting forth much effort doing meaningful excursions with them. I know there are girls out there that can understand or appreciate the gravity behind certain outings to places of any historical or natural significance, but I just haven't personally met them. Every time I've tried to take a girl out to a beautiful place or a natural setting, they just bury their nose in their phone the whole time and/or complain about having to be there. I've just never aligned with any girl on personal interests and every time I go anywhere with them, I end up feeling more alone while there than if I had gone alone.

I do all of the above and I'm happy with my life. My friends and family are acting like the miserable ones saying I need to get a wife and or have kids already. I tell them screw that.

Even when I was young, I preferred being alone. However I thought I was weird for this.

And then when I got redpilled and went MGTOW, I realized that I wasn't weird at all. I would rather be by myself than be surrounded by idiots.

The first time you go eat at a restaurant alones the hardest. But after a few times you realize nobody gives a fuck and it gets easier and eventually you don't even think about it.

It's awesome.

I'd say the only time i don't do it is at a destination/couples restaurant with candle-lit mood lighting with no bar to sit at. That would still feel a bit awkward for me. But majority of restaurants are fine

Most my life I feared going out alone (namely bars). I forced myself to start doing it 4 years ago. Best decision I ever made. Without company, you end up meeting a plethora of people since you're under no obligation to entertain or interact with one paticular person(s).

It got to the point where only after a few months, I started enjoying going out alone more than going with friends.

Absolutely agree with this. I have an RV that I take out, by myself, several times a year and it is bliss. There's no nagging wife, no whiny kids, no needy girlfriend who needs me to take a million photos of her for her Instagram page. Seeing the world through your own eyes, without distractions is incredibly peaceful.

Been doing it all alone for 18 yrs and loving it!

I learned all these lessons in my early 20s after both daughters were born and never looked back once I hit 24

i nailed a few dumb bar tramps and had my share of escorts but even that stuff isn’t valued to me anymore and it’s got nothing to do with not being interested in sex or not having a sex drive ..

This is really bad messaging. Life isn’t supposed to be lived alone. Even if you decide to swear off women, which probably isn’t a good idea, at least try to get guy friends
