The US government has no money that isn't taken from the citizens and corporations. The Federal Reserve is a private "for profit" bank. So yes, I do own the schools, public hospitals, national parks, Voyager 1 and 2, etc. According to international treaty and maritime law, no one can claim ownership of any other planet or space itself.

Oh fuck! This is relevant right now where I live...
Having just received my driver's license these fuckers make me paranoid (yes the worst offenders are women and their kids).
They take none of the basic safety precautions, they always stop and start in the most awkward places (mostly in places with absolutely no visibility for oncoming traffic), they stay right in the middle of the fucking road.
They do have bike-specific lanes, do they stick to them? absolutely never.

Kinda related, but in college we had an indoor running track (great for those southern summer days). It was great except for the groups of females who walk using ALL FOUR LANES and demand to be all in one row (leftmost two lanes were for jogging pace or faster only). Zero thought went into anyone else that wanted to use the track.

True ever since Walmart finally killed off all of the local old mostly vacant malls. Cycling is one of my hobbies, and even i hate how stupid some of them act while riding. I see them riding on sidewalks ( very dangerous to yourself and to pedestrians, the only reasonable excuse is if it is a child), using crosswalks to cross a road while riding( you are supposed to walk it across if you do this), not adhereing to stop signs( cyclists are considered vehicles not pedestrians), not using lights or wearing reflective clothing, and taking left turns across traffic from the far right of the road( you should be in a left turn lane if there is one) riding while listening to music on headphones ( you may want to hear the car coming that is going to fuck your day up). I could on for days about how unsafe most people are but I dont want to bore you. I practice safety and it shows, i have never even had a close call and i ride in high traffic areas a lot. It is amazing how little people care for their own lives, because that and a dent on my hood are about the only things at stake there.

I got one of those on my commute and its a no pass road as it is, so then I'll take the lane to ensure my safety and act like a vehicle. Because my taxes also pay for those roads for me to cycle on.

I live down a single track road with passing places, I was behind a man, a woman and a kid, they all pass a passing place without noticing my car and then approach a second one, the guy notices and moves both himself and the kid over. The woman keeps on going oblivious to my presence until I blast my horn at her then she moves, they must have cloth ears.

And this is why women supposedly have better statistics when it comest to accidents. Sure, men definitely cause more accidents by a more agressive way of driving. But women cause all kinds of accidents with their fucking "someone else will take care... lalalaaala..." attitude.
Last month I had three almost-accidents. One by a woman trying to force herself into the moving traffic from a gateway without giving a fuck about right of way, one was a nutjob with a screaming kid who forced her way all the way through a one-way-street and one almost killed me by not making room for me on a building site on the autobahn.
There was a narrowing and first that bitch needed five minutes to find the courage to pass a truck (and to simply fall back and let the other drivers pass clearly never crossed her mind) and when I was at level with that truck, I could not move on; because bitch in front of me decided that she would need all the street in front of her new, counting from the front bumper of the truck and could not effort to let me have some. 40 cm space to the left, then a concrete wall. 40 cm space to the right, then a swaying truck. A car right behind me and that. stupid. cunt in front of me who gave me the middle finger when I hit the horn.
If I would have had an accident then, she would have been the triggering incident, but she would never show up in any statistic. And this is why women are the "better drivers". Because they cause accidents by completely reckless behaviour, they cause other people to have crashed or to crash into them by driving out of alleys or parking lots without looking or even thinking. The trigger agression by always driving on the left lane or by "lecturing" other drivers who are 1/2 km/h over the speeding limit by suddenly hitting the brake. But they always do this in a way that makes other people look like idiots.

We have bike specific lanes in the town where I live throughout 99% of the town.
People still ride on the fucking sidewalks and don't get ticketed for it, but when I do it, I get tickets/warnings out the wazoo from cops.
I'm just talking about people in general, not even thots.
I just walk most places now. I fucking HATE cyclists.

Yep. I live near an airport and for years the road around there was fairly dangerous because bikes would have to basically be in traffic. So the city puts in this brand new two lane bike path so they can get off the road. They never fucking use it.

What I can't stand are sport cyclists who cause backups during rush hour. What makes this even more infuriating is that they do this on 2-lane parkways that have a paved and well-maintained bike lane sitting off to the side. But they don't like having to go around the pedestrians who also use the bike lane (because it might slow them down) so instead they slow down 1,000 drivers and create traffic backups.
And as someone else mentioned, fuel taxes are what pay for most road construction and maintenance, so in fact, cyclists do NOT own the fucking road.
