My question is why do these "realistic princess" always have tattoos? I don't have a problem with tats, I have numerous myself. But why would royalty mark up their body

the average u.s. woman is 5'3" and 168.5 lbs. she's also a 46 year old mother of 3. if you're this fat at 20, you're not "average". you're fat, and you're going to be morbidly obese. your likelihood of bearing healthy children to birth is virtually zero. no man will ever be interested in you. Where I'm from, the Netherlands Europe, this 'realistic' picture of women's shapes wouldn't add up. Sure there are fat chicks, but the majority of the Disney Princess aged women don't have said realistic shapes IMO.

Most of those princesses were created and based way back in the day when women weren't complete landwhales and standards were higher.

Not to mention based in countries where being fat is frowned upon/uncommon, and add to the fact that they're royalty so standards are so much higher. Only in some families the men, king and princes would eat a ton and be fat because they wanted to show off their wealth and power. Mainly it was the king, less so the princes.

I mean here's the thing to: do we watch fantasy to see average representations of slovenly dumbasses? Superman is a greek god-looking boy scout with unlimited power, and good character. Would he be the most famous and most popular superhero if he was a fat neckbeard who jerks it and plays video games all day? That would be more "realistic", but it wouldn't be good entertainment, it wouldn't be attractive.

Stylized/perfect men/women in media serve provide us with an archetype that we can use for inspiration or as role models. I know I'll never be as strong as a superhero, but maybe the idea can motivate me to improve myself. Likewise no girl will ever be as beautiful or desirable as a Disney princess, but maybe they can be inspired to look after themselves, and embrace their femininity.

But NOPE we should set the bar at zero so all the worthless failures don't feel like worthless failures. Well, I'm not paying money to watch a landwhale eat herself to death, nor would I pay to watch Superchode sit around playing WoW all day either.
