I wish everyone could come to some neutral ground rules regarding abortion, and child support.

The easy way to avoid all this is don’t bust your nut inside a woman, that’s just fucking stupid. But if you do, there should be some short window of time where two decisions must be made, if an abortion is to take place, and whether the man CHOOSES to support the child.

Leaving both choices up the woman is of course not fair.

Although I’m not really in favour of abortions in general, I recognize that for legal reasons and edge cases like this there needs to be some window where the (potential) father has time to opt out of all legal responsibilities, and this would give the woman time to have an abortion. If she doesn’t have an abortion then the man is off the hook.

It's about body autonomy, not equality. If I were the only eligible donor in a life-saving surgery of even the most important person on earth, nobody could make me do or refrain from doing anything with my body. It doesn't matter if someone's life is tied to it, it's my own body at the end of the day. If disallowing abortion did not inherently violate body autonomy, there would not be a problem.

Plus, if someone terminates a pregnancy, there is no child to pay for. If someone does not, there is a child that has expenses.
