Interesting! Who and how determined this and for which time period ? Can you share what is the source ? Thanks!
[–]evergrace96[S] 26 points27 points28 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I found it on r/europe 'hot' section, but it has been removed a few minutes ago, by the mods, for this reason "it doesn't use a credible source".
[–]TheLastMgtow7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I think the mod is from Sweden according to the map.
[–]evergrace96[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It has multiple mods, the mod who removed it had a greek flag flair. Still as cucked as swedish lol.

Its a spartan soy boy. Those are the worse. Ready to even die just to see the bull fuck their wives.
[–]jordanbadland1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Greeks don't seem too cucked tbh
[–]Wolfy3111 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
how determined
Its probably easily determined through imports/exports volume in comparison to population and density.
[–]livingstranger10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
It's a bloody bean. It's not your enemy. It doesn't turn you into a bitch. It's a bean.
[–]ceejless11 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I seriously don't understand this soy thing...is it a joke or do people seriously believe it turns you more feminine?
[–]Backstabbin-ghost10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes because it has phyto estrogen. Even tho beer has 100x times more of it but no one calls a beer drinker a bitch.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Tell that to Jack and the beanstalk mate.
[–]Wolfy311-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Really? Ask the asians. They consume the most soy in the world and they have the lowest average testosterone levels in the world, and have the smallest average penis size in the world, and are more effeminate (low to no body hair, less masculine features, etc).

Italy consumes a lot of soy and yet is anti-feminist. Interesting.

Italy is an Anti-feminist country?? Are you sure?
[–]TheImpossible10 points1 point2 points 7 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
Well they're trying to close the child support scam, I don't know if they're traditionalists or what.
[–]retal1ator3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
As far as I know they suggested that it would be fair to remove alimony for working women.
But compared to a country like Sweden we are more traditionalists, especially in the south. In Rome and below you can find many young couples still having traditional gender roles. I honestly can't tell if we are less gynocentric, tho.
[–]Azul190 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I do believe that Italy is an extremely conservative country, very pro-traditionalism and anti LGBT/immigration etc.
My older sister has been in Italy(she has italian friends) and she was attacked/shamed for being bisexual...from what i see on the midia, there's a problem with homophobia there also.
I don't meant to judge, those are just my observations.
P.S At least they're not pc/feminist/sjw...they're not as cucked as Americans on that one.

...I'm in Mexico...salmon here is all farmed Chilean salmon. The industry in Chile was set up with Norwegian expertise...raised in the same toxic stew. It's my understanding they even dye the flesh to make it appear pink. I tried it when I first got here hoping for something sim to PNW salmon...it was pretty much tasteless. How I miss that deep red, oily King (Chinook) salmon.

Keep in mind that's from 2006 -- 12 years ago -- "SoyMilk" sales have increased exponentially in the decade+ since (particularly in certain parts of the country,* and in certain specific "applications/venues"... like school lunch programs, college "food courts" and "coffeehouses" {that may NOT actually be real "milk/cream" they're adding to your cappuccino, even if you DIDN'T ask for "soy"}).
Also, while the stuff is sold as a "premium" product at Premium PRICES...
So called "soy milk" -- which is NOT "milk" -- is anything BUT a "premium" product, and in fact is a "byproduct" (i.e. WASTE)... being peddled to the ignorant/gullible masses at MASSIVE profit margins.
* Go ahead, take a wild guess where.
** When is the last time YOU saw "Soy Milk" priced at LESS than regular (real dairy) "Milk"... much less at 1/7th the price?
[–]DWShimoda6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Guarantee you if you had (or even COULD obtain*) a more detailed breakdown -- say down to the county/provice/metropolitan level.... you'd find it to be even MORE illuminating than the above -- which is "national aggregate averages."
* Highly unlikely any such data exists, or could even be reliably estimated** at least in terms of the "supply" side of the equation: soy is generally not eaten as itself, rather it is invariably included as an "additive" ingredient in a rather wide variety of "processed" foods.
** About the closest one MIGHT come is acquiring data on consumption of things like (tofu/soy protein based) "veggie burgers" etc. -- but there, the conclusion is already blatantly obvious; it's going to be heavily concentrated (i.e. several times, probably an order of magnitude higher relative consumption) in various "urban" areas, and particularly among those who consume "institutional" food services (i.e. schools, prisons, various franchise restaurant & "fast food" chain products, etc).
[–]Playstation_52 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely. UK and countryside based here, I've never seen or heard of anyone using soy based products but don't doubt Brighton and London are full of it
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Idk if the same are by you but soy is in a TON of foods here in the US. Not so much like soy food or soy drink but as a grain/bean/legume or whatever the fuck it is in a lot of regular foods because it’s cheap.
[–]davisyoung1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Read your labels and see how many foods contain soy lecithin. It’s used for textural purposes. Probably not a lot in terms of volume but don’t think going soy free involves just avoiding soy milk and tofu.
[–]DWShimoda0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well people around you -- yes including yourself -- probably HAVE (unintentionally, unwittingly) consumed a not INsignificant amount of food, or at least things like "condiments", that contains some "soy" in hidden forms; as "fillers" and "emulsifiers" and etc. -- things like lecithin, various soy protein and other "by-products" (the stuff is virtually unavoidable these days).
But what you & your neighbors probably HAVEN'T done and DON'T do (at least regularly) is drink "Soy Milk" or buy "Soy Lattes"; or intentionally buy & eat "veggie burgers" and "not dogs"; much less consume blocks of "tofu" and "tempeh"; nor purposefully make & drink "protein powder shakes" -- neither are y'all likely to be eating regularly at some "sushi/sashimi" restaurant (those being a bit thin on the ground in the midlands and shires).
Urbanites on the other hand... especially the "cosmopolitan" ones that are into any/all of the fashionable-fads; dietary, as well as socio-political... ayah they SEEK it out, and wolf that shit down on a daily basis.
I really do wonder if the divide (intentional or not) isn't becoming SO large that -- in a very real "neurobiochemical" sense -- we aren't actually splitting into two "species"... a sort of androgynous, almost brainless Eloi-like urban "nu-human" subspecies (HomoHomogeneous)... versus the rural "Morlocks" (who are then seen as "barbaric/deplorables" by the former, but are really just NORMAL "Homo Sapiens").

20 Foods High in Estrogen
Based on the research from the study cited above, the top 20 foods to increase estrogen levels on a per-serving basis are listed below. Clearly the top recommendation would be consumption of flaxseeds and other soy-related products (e.g. soybeans, soy nuts, and tofu). Understand that certain foods may not have been taken into consideration in this study and therefore the list may not be conclusive.
Flaxseed (163,133) Soybeans (45,724) Soy nuts (21,306) Textured veggie protein (8,923) Tofu (8,688) Soy milk (7,422) Soy yogurt (6,576)
Coumestan: Phytochemicals called “coumestans” contain a compound called “coumestrol.” Coumestrol is known to elicit estrogenic effects and is considered a phytoestrogen. Examples of foods with coumestrol include: alfalfa, legumes, pinto beans, soybeans, chick peas, and clovers.

The (medical) jury is still out on soy. The mass consumption of soy today is a large and uncontrolled medical experiment. Humans have never consumed large amounts of soy. Even Asians used it as a condiment. Because it is cheap to grow, ag business promoted soy heavily over the last few decades as a health food. In truth, most North American soy (over 90%) is genetically modified and soaked in RoundUp. Because it is cheap it is in literally every packaged food. The only way to avoid it is to make your own healthy meals from scratch. Look how soy oil is made (Wikipedia). "To produce soybean oil, the soybeans are cracked, adjusted for moisture content, heated to between 60 and 88 °C (140–190 °F), rolled into flakes, and solvent-extracted with hexanes. The oil is then refined, blended for different applications, and sometimes hydrogenated."
Do you want to put that in your body? Or soy "milk" for that matter? this shit is produced in factories with tons of processing. It isn't natural and no one is going to convince me it is healthy anytime soon.
[–]ajoeviola2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Processed meats, eggs, and dairy aren't natural either. They come from factories in much worse conditions than soy factories.
I'm not arguing that soy is a health food, but I think it gets too much of a bad rep. People are out here hating on soy while they take a nice bite out of their bacon egg and cheese.
[–]Backstabbin-ghost2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That is what we call hypocrisy. Yet consume beer and smoke but soy OH PLEASE DONT!
[–]ThaiEscapePlan1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
indeed. it's been said that a visit to a slaughterhouse is a quick route to veganism. However, no society has even been vegan in human history. and no society has consumed processed foods to the extent we have. I will stay away from soy and advise all my (male especially) friends too. If you have issues with dairy fine. as for meat and eggs, they are proven healthy, especially if you go organic. I am not going to bet against nature by eating factory produced frankengrains, vegetable oils and added sugars/salt. Soy, a cheap food additive with unknown long term health effects, is at the top of my list of foods to avoid. The oil is processed in much the same way as gasoline so I would argue it is far less natural than eggs, dairy and meat which we have been eating for tens of thousands of years in the case of dairy and forever for meat and eggs. Unfortunately, there is little that is "natural" in the western world food-wise today. You should also look into the research and see how much of the pro-soy studies are funded by big ag.
[–]RadicalAsceticMonk2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I love the fact that my country EXPORTS almost all the soy it produces, because no one wants to consume that crap here. You can have it all, Europe.
[–]roy282821 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Is soy the cause or effect to what happens in those countries?
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
What is soy?
[–]AlbertCohol0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
A bean used in many products for its high protein content. But it also contains phytoestrogens which (although some cucks debate against it) may increase estrogen levels and therefore feminine traits in men.
[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Hasn't been proven but we can't deny all the vegan men that are liberal cucks.
[–]ajoeviola4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think it's the appeal of the ethical and environment elements of veganism that draw in the liberal population, but it's just not true that soy or veganism causes liberal viewpoints or turns people into "soy boys". I'm a vegan and I'm the opposite of the typical soyboy stereotype.
[–]Rubbabaybee2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Albanian here, can confirm soy doesn’t exist in Albania. Map is at least accurate where it shows Albania and Kosovo with lowest level of consumption.

I don’t eat soy products but I love sushi with loads of soy sauce and a cup of miso soup (also made from soy). Plus beer contains estrogen too, so I guess I consume more estrogen than I’d like to but I’m no soy boy
[–]DWShimoda2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
soy sauce
If it's "traditionally fermented" that process basically destroys/eliminates the estrogen compounds (plus, even if you were to put LOADS -- like a whole bottle of soy sauce on a single meal {which no one actually does} -- you'd still only be getting a trivial fraction of what someone who consumes tofu or drinks "Soy Milk" regularly is getting).

Im going to take some convincing that the uk leads Europe in soy bean consumption. We eat baked beans and that's basically as far as we go down bean alley. Your average Brit has a sensible disregard for all forms of vegetable unless it's a deep fried potato product, so why would we ever eat soybeans?
