I hate putting myself in this category, but it's true. I've dated plenty of hot women. What made me go my own way was my last relationship. I am now in court for "assault". She stole my car keys and ran away, I simply ran after her and pulled them out of her hands and she fell to the ground. Of course I was arrested and now I'm going to court and will probably be charged. Also I was accused of sexual assault that I didn't do 3 years ago, and I spent two years in court fighting it. Why did I go my own way? First, the way my last relationship ended after 9 years; that was an eye opener. Crazy unstable women, drama and just a waste of time. There are also some extreme cases that two of my buddies experienced that scared me.

My parents were divorced twice and I'm bad at relationships (angry angry father). The people my parents married the second time were also divorced twice, and the line continues. I know more than a dozen divorced people I feel like, and I'm only 25. I want to become as wealthy as possible as fast as possible, and women could end up taking half of that or more. Ugly - not attractive to anyone, I guess. The constant realization of that made me sad. Every day and every time I would think about not having anyone just put me in a sad mood. But after finding MGTOW, it made me a lot happier.

I started to get tired of the whole dating game. Trying my absolute hardest to find someone when I would just get ghosted and having to start again. And I feel like leaving may have been the greatest decision I have made for myself.

Now I am focusing on myself way more than I ever had before. I am way happier than I was, and I may not be attractive to people but it is at the point where I am just like "Who cares? Live your life." I have my mind set on finding a good job so I can travel, or put money and time into hobbies I enjoy like gaming/music/art. Something about it just feels more free, and I love it.

For the most part, I am still scared of my distant future and possibly being alone at old age. But at the same time, I don't really want to be in a relationship where we despise one another and argue all the time, no matter how many years we have been married. My grandparents are an example of that - there is no possible way I would be in a relationship where every day we hate each other and are arguing over the smallest of things. That doesn't seem like the ideal life for me.

I'd rather be alone and happy than married to someone who will hate my existence after being together for so long.

I think I’d qualify to answer this. Maybe a chad-lite because I’m under 6’. I always did well with women, as far back as I can remember. Pretty much any night we went out to a bar or club in my late teens and early to mid-twenties, at least one woman would offer to fuck me. I think being attractive to women, and seeing how they act towards someone they’re attracted to, is both a blessing and a curse. If you’re a hedonistic dude, it would make life feel awesome. There are a lot of of "I'm not a chad, but..." posts so I might as well add mine.

I have a decent amount of money, a house with a lot of equity, a nice luxery import sports car, a good job, and no children. When I was on tinder a couple years ago, I was assured by several women that this is basically the combination of things that most women look for in a man, so getting women usually works out pretty well for me.

Here's why I stay single though:

The quality of women that you get is terrible. Maybe if I were a Chad I'd get better or nicer looking woman, but my main gripe is how irresponsible and demanding most women are. Woman always ask, "where have the good men gone", but I'm really wondering, "where have all the good woman gone"? Maybe they're married so you're left looking through the rejects when you try to find one. Or maybe feminism turned them all into trash. I don't really know, but it's kind of rediculous what most women have turned into.
I'm not interested in getting divorced and losing everything that I have. I have found woman who I would consider getting married to, and have proposed either a prenup, or just saying together without getting married (which I think is a more pure kind of love), and of course they never like either option.
I kind of enjoy being alone sometimes, especially when I go to bed. I would still like to have someone in my life though. I think people, family, friends, etc, make your life more enjoyable and memorable. But women kind of latch onto you and never give you any space. I enjoy the intimacy of having someone close to you, but I need breaks in between to recharge a bit.

I think MGTOW can be kind of a curse, but at a certain point, you have to take what life gives you and figure out what's best. In the end, I think it's marriage and divorce laws that keep me single. Every women I've ever dated has wanted to get married, and it always ends up the same way in the end. Heartbroken that things didn't work out, but kind of relieved that I have my space back and don't have to put up with the bullshit that woman bring with them.
