I send my baby momma solid 40% of my pay check each weekm. It may not be my place to speak as someone who isn’t very interested in this community, but as a male I’d like to make a suggestion. We don’t need women, right? Then why do we complain about them so often? It’s like how woman in the bad part of the feminist community are like “yeah, we don’t need men because they suck” and then continue to write a 10 page essay about why they suck. Now, that doesn’t make any sense does it? You don’t say you don’t need or care about someone and then write a ten page essay on why they suck and have no purpose. A married woman has a type of higher status in a traditional society. In the modern West, single motherhood affords that status. They get taken care of, and generally viewed as more important than non-mothers. All the tax dollars and free rent and free food go to those higher status women. Just like wives in a traditional society.

When you view it that way, single motherhood is just another form of marriage, in which the man is bound to the woman for 18 years, same as marriage. A woman from a low income background might not be able to get a man to marry her, but she can usually get a guy to creampie her. So even though it’s not ideal, it’s he highest status hey can get at a young age without working.

The thing that makes it more appealing than marriage to women is that she also gets to brag about her additional marriages to other men. It’s a symbol of her status. Making it out to be her choice takes away that status. If men don’t buy into the fantasy that she is a helpless victim, they won’t “rescue” her, so she won’t be able to get new men to marry her. That’s a threat to her status, and her ability to secure support from men. That’s why they are sensitive about he subject.
