I remember watching a movie with my now ex. She fell asleep but I stayed up, engrossed in the story to finish the movie. There was a sequence I really connected with. I had a turbulent childhood and this part/character really affected me. Brought a lot of things to the surface. I'm crying, not bawling or anything but having some tears come down my face. I'm not ashamed. Soon after my ex wakes up and asks what's wrong. I told her this part really hit home and got me emotional. She laughed, not like the meme but enough to where I got pissed off. I should've known better but she tried apologizing.

I say all that to tell anyone similar to me, keep those things to yourself. Don't open up to your woman. She will only see you as weak and start looking elsewhere. Confide in good friends or family or therapists.

I have been in a very dark place, lately, to the point where I have withdrawn from most of my relationships. Today I told my mother and father that they will either begin to support my decisions or this was our last conversation and not to call when one of them dies as I no longer care. My family will no longer get to condemn my successes because they don't have their own.

My ex used to respond with "well then just kill yourself and stop whining" And this was after several years of being together.

She was completely disgusted with me. The look on her face... her body language.. as if I was a hopeless alocoholic or compulsive gambler.. I wasn't any of those.. but that's the reaction she gave me... Ironically she spent hours talking about other friends of hers that went through drama and depression as if they were hero-like legendary men who fought great dragons or some shit. She was a total character-worshiper looking back and probably had a crush on them... but when it came to me? When depression and loss actually hit me? ... tough love... she'd call it. Her father was the same. I overheard him saying to her on the phone "told you not to date weak men"

She ended up breaking up with me because I got on antidepressants which she thought were "sad/pathetic" and they also killed my libido.

I was speaking with my cousins wife about life experiences and such. The conversation got pretty deep and she mentioned she was molested when she was young.

It was an awful story, needless to say.

I mentioned how I too was molested when I was a child. She wanted details, nothing too detailed but general information.

When I mentioned what happened, she bursted out laughing.

She was mortified by her own outburst. It didn't bother me because I know how women are. What I found very interesting was, she was not mortified by laughing at someone's childhood trauma, she was mortified by revealing the person she actually is.

We don’t live like apes anymore, meaning, I don’t think that we still base most of our actions on instincts. I really think that girls are being conditioned to be that way. And it’s a condition that is multidimensional, meaning, they are programmed from multiple sources.

Music, TV-Shows and movies program arrogance and narcissism and the desperate need for social inclusion.

Porn culture (which can also be seen in music, movies, tv-shows, cartoons, etc etc.) program self objectification, a false sense of self-worth and the worship of the body. Porn is also very addicting and is the very reason for beastiality, incest, and etc.

Friends reinforce the 2 previous programs because they receive the same programming, and social inclusion keeps them trapped with such horrible friends. They begin to compete with one another (hate on one another while pretending to care for one another) because that’s what every other girl is doing. E.g., it’s very difficult for a girl with decent-sized boobs NOT to show cleavage when she isn’t paid attention to by covering them up and guys only paying attention to those who expose their boobs. So the game for girls is horrible to begin with because guys more often than not focus on the sexualized girls.

Tight clothes rub against the front and the back that increases the chance of having sexual thoughts—activating the “porn program” mentioned above.

And the government support women more than men because of money—plenty of money to be made from divorce.

So I don’t think that women are “born” that way, more like programmed that way. Which still means that MGTOW is the solution, but it isn’t the end goal. The end goal should be to have non-cancerous women with whom you can feel comfortable being together with, which is done by educating boys and men about their cancerous program so that men begin to change the very program that is causing all the cancer to begin with. But of course women have to be willing to change, I would never expect men to clean up their mess, only to spread the word.

I opened up to my now ex about my depression early on. I felt that it was important because it's a part of me. She dragged the relationship along instead of leaving early enough to where it wouldn't hurt. Tried to use sex to build a relationship instead of being emotionally vested. Makes me feel like an idiot for falling for that shit. She made no effort to understand the inner workings of my head when I did that for her. That relationship has ruined future relationships for me and I find myself less interested in them each day.

I had a girlfriend in my early twenties (31 now) that I trusted with information about how I felt after my fathers death as a youth and during an argument she threw it in my face. This is how my ex fiance was. Terribly cold, unsupportive and judgemental about my emotions. Pushed me further and further into alcohol and drugs to cope with it all.

Long story short, I found someone else who actually validates my feelings and allows me to be myself in every sense of the phrase. I cried in front of her a few weeks ago after talking about some childhood trauma, and she held me, just kept telling me how strong I was for talking it out.

People like her are few and far between.

Can I say something though? And I’m not fighting, I’m gmow. It’s just there are some things I find myself trying to make sense of. I’ve seen mgtow posts and videos where women are berated for having emotions. There’s stuff about them being weaker because they show emotion. There’s also stuff about how their depression doesn’t count, or it’s stupid. I just want to know if other mgtows see the contradiction with this post here? Are we for emotion or not?
