Whatever you do, don't try to get out faster so you can keep up with an attractive girl you met and got feelings for while on the inside. She'll find somebody else anyway and you'll be back to square one.

If you need help, do what you have to do. I went to a counselor after my divorce and it really helped, even though it was a female counselor. I was able to move forward in my life and am doing better. I managed to avoid inpatient, even though there was a point where I felt suicidal. If this is what you need, good luck to you and I hope it works out for you.

You did the right thing brother. You took action to get yourself healthier and that takes inner strength. Focus on putting your mind in a good place and allow yourself to feel everything(good and bad). It's how you'll begin to heal. Good luck!
