To be fair this is very likely an arranged marriage situation where she will have very little contact with the men pre-marriage. Marriage over there is more of a business transaction for both sides than it is here. The husband will get a dowry, the families have to be on board, etc.

The idea of marrying for love is relatively new I think it was the eighteenth century where this shifted in the west.

In India marriage nowadays sucks, it's a complete business transaction. The situation is worst, like if there is a arrange marriage situation then the Bride's family search for a groom either the guy has a government Job or who's monthly income has to be more than the bride's entire family (very strong finances or maybe wealthy) and as a result of which generally Groom's family ask for dowry and stuff..from bride's family, without dowry and money no wedding is going to happen.
In the case of Love marriages most of them are useless, like couples don't marry because their families don't accept the relationship (opt. for Arrange marriage) or love marriage only going to be successful if both the partners belonging to wealthy families (mostly* only Rich Class People go for love marriages).
After the marriage, Divorce rate is also going higher even Indians giving competition to the US citizens.

I wouldn't downvote you however your opinion is grossly miss informed. Matrimonial sites are used by almost every indian parent that has some any idea about them. Often times it's not the groom's but their parents who are handling the profile. Indian men are very blue pilled.
Specially the kind of guys who are so successful, remember these are the guys who've shoved themselves into the books and curriculum and are 'yes' men(for the most part) add into this the societal disapproval of opposite gender interaction.
