So I been really thinking about this idea, that you can't negotiate desire. Some of those in the red pill community make that point.

So, what exactly is a woman to do (I'm a guy) if the type of relationship or man that they "desire" is next to impossible to obtain?

Lets say you are 55 years old and you want a striking hot 35 year old man who is a millionaire. It would seem like, if said women wanted to be married and experience a partnership, that shifting her idea's a bit might lead her to better luck. But, by the rules above she will never be truly happy.....because she didn't get what she desired.

But, I'm thinking that we negotiate on desire all the time. We desire for things to be perfect but learning to be happy with the good that life brings us is normally a show of maturity. We don't desire to do a lot of things.....so we focus on the good that might come from them. A man may never like going to work, but he desires to do the work to feed his family. I guess what i'm saying is that desire might not be the end game, but if you treat it as an end game its almost impossible to align desire with all of our needs.

In selecting a mate, we also see that desire can be easily influenced by so many factors. Alcohol has probably facilitated more "desire" than anything else on earth. So why would we give something so fickle a final say in our lives? On the flip side, as a man we always tend to desire other women. But, at some point we negotiate our desires away in order to make a single women happy with us. Some men are never happy in this situation, but a large chunk of men at some point want to give that lifestyle a rest....even if they still feel a desire for other attractive women.

I'm coming to the conclusion that desire is the low hanging fruit. Its the first step toward a bigger picture. That maybe the old religious farts were on to something when they basically say.....don't always give into desires....check and see if they are of right thinking and are good in nature first.

If a women does not desire her husband or does not desire men who could perfectly be husband material. Is it improper to think that maybe some soul searching and consulting with the right and wrong of the issue might be in order? That the logical brain can step in for a minute and say.....hey maybe we can find desire if we open ourselves up to some ideas that we previously objected to
