I was eating lunch with my sister today, and a cockroach raced past the table, to the bathroom. Now we both seem to have a real phobia of insects, there were times in which i've spent countless hours, just looking at a piece of furniture when something crawled underneath it. Leave a room or even the house altogether because of a huge flying bizarre insect.

I knew none of us were going to kill it, so i just thought of keeping a lookout on the door until my uncle came back in about 20 minutes. My sister on the other hand found panicking was a more sensible approach. She starts screaming at me to kill it, knowing full well i'm in as bad a shape as she is, but the reason behind it is that i'm a man, so it's my job to do it. I try saying that it doesn't make sense, it's like me saying she should wash the dishes after we finish because she's a woman, but no go, apparently "that's completely different". There's a lot of screaming and insults of "madam", "6'6" sissy", and all of that.

When i first saw it existed i didn't really get mensrights, but as each day goes by i see more and more of these ridiculous double standards in society.
