I’m not surprised, feminist have adopted a guilty until proven innocent mindset for alleged rapists, so why would they be against a cruel and unusual punishment for them?

Men convicted of rape will face surgical castration and men who rapes a child under 14 will face the death penalty.

Intriguingly, a woman who is convicted of raping a child under 14 gets a free tubal ligation, which not only doesn't compromise one's ability to have sex but eliminates the risk of unwanted pregnancy as well. Talk about a sweet deal.

Moreover, there is no mention of punishment for women who rape adults. I presume that's its not a punishable offence in its jurisdiction.

The biggest issue with this type of extremist thinking is that it demonstrates a blatant disregard for men and male physiology. Kind of like how the death penalty demonstrates a disregard for human life or how cutting someone's hand for stealing can demonstrate a disregard for bodily integrity, mutilation and other forms of extreme punishment demonstrates a very sociopathic view of people in general.

This is especially true, however, in cases where these extreme measures are only employed against certain types of people. Like, for example, if you had a society where a white bank robber that gets caught is simply let off with a warning but a black bank robber that is caught gets a life sentence, this would demonstrate a very clear disproportionate human value between the two. And, when people start thinking it's okay to castrate men for one crime, it's certainly not unreasonable to expect that those people will eventually call for castration to be used as punishment for other crimes committed by men, and only men, in the future as well.

When it comes to rape, there is a very big disparity between how male and female rapists are treated. Female rapists are typically given little more than a slight slap on the wrist, if they ever face and kind of punishment. In comparison to male rapists, where people are often quick to advocate for murder/castration, it is virtually night and day. You certainly don't see anyone advocating for the death penalty when a female teacher sleeps with an underage boy or people screaming for a woman to have her ovaries/uterus removed when she sexually defrauds, assaults or rapes a guy.

In order for there to be a disparity this big between genders, there must be a very fundamental difference between how people measure male and female life. All male life. If it can be that easy for people to come up with these types of violent responses for one gender but not the other, there is something fundamentally wrong with how they view those people.

There is also something to be said about how people view rape as a crime worse than any other(worse than murder, dismemberment or child abuse), that is also very questionable. This is especially true if they only see it as a bigger crime because they see it as a crime that only men commit(even though we know it isn't). Even though they see rape from women as no big deal or see objectively greater crimes(causing causing greater harm/death) as lesser, they see a crime that they put a male face on and therefore justify just about any other form of barbarism in response.

If people advocated for throwing acid at women's faces when they are caught cheating but then just gave men a slap on the wrist when they are caught cheat, most people would be understand how this could be indicative of a deeper underlying issue. It doesn't mean that they would be "pro-cheating" or "cheating apologists" but they would probably point out how the response might be extreme and very much targeted violence.

It's a symptom of wide-spread and fundamentally/socially accepted misandry that in subtle ways ends up affecting all men, not just the criminal ones. It is also something that could be heavily abused to target and destroy innocent men by women as well. There are certainly plenty of women who are willing to abuse the system to harm men with false-rape accusations or gain control over them via threats of false-rape accusations. If women had the capability to abuse the system into castrating men they felt personally wronged by(for whatever arbitrary reason) or coerce men with threats of castration, that would a completely nightmareish scenario.

The proposed castration is nothing but feminist gender hatred, as it assumes that all rapists can be castrated (i.e. are male). This is just feminist hate speech.

What about castration for only convicted (as in people who actually committed the crime and weren't falsely accused) rapists. I feel like most actual rapists get a either a slap on the wrist or no punishment at all and the brunt of the punishment falls on those who were falsely accused.

I don't want to see innocent people get hurt, but I am also sick of actual rapists getting away with their crimes because they made sure to erase all evidence and intimidate their victims into silence.

What would be a good compromise between habeas corpus and justice for those who were wronged?

I feel like the punishment for rapists is too lenient. For someone who wasn't falsely accused and/or convicted, who doesn't give a fuck how people perceive them, a mark on their record and a few months to years in jail is nothing.

Some RAPISTS (including child rapists) hande begged for castration and been denied. I lean conservative but I'm more than happy to have my tax payer dollars pay for sterilization procedures, especially if they result in greater self control for people suffering an excess of aggression.

English Law does not use the term "rape" in its terminology. It uses the terms "sexual assault of varying degrees".
