Today I saw people protesting the creation of a new prison in their community.

One woman was walking around with a sign that read something like: 'Prisons make women unsafe.'

Not 'Women and children'--which is only marginally better--just 'Women'. Women are apparently the most helpless and vulnerable creatures on the planet.

I need a new gender identity. This one sucks.
