I’ve been told being woke just means caring about others, and if you aren’t woke you are essentially a hateful person. The left is so self-righteous if you don’t agree with any of their talking points you are considered a hateful bigot/sexist/racist. Hmm I wonder why it doesn’t appeal to a lot of people, especially men and specifically white men. Call a group of people the source of all the world’s problems and then call yourself caring and progressive? The cognitive dissonance really amazes me.

I’m not aligned with the right or left. Two-headed snake imo, but I can easily see why men wouldn’t want to support the left when they are constantly being demonized.

Interesting headline, as the article states that men aged 18-24 became more liberal. Only when you include men 25-34 does the 18-34 cohort as a whole become more conservative, and even then it was only by .02 on a scale of 1-5. I suppose a headline of "young men are now 0.5% more conservative than they were ten years ago" wouldn't get any clicks.

I know I’m only a filthy liberal, which means the hard core leftists consider me to the right of Attila the Hun, but “the left” absolutely shits all over all men and pretty much demonstrates that any time when they’re in power they ass rape them. Just like everyone’s favorite butt boy Trump did. And all the right wing.

Why leftists may think they can possibly appeal to men I don’t know.

Since they full on hate them as a class of humans I’d be curious how they can balance their desires for authoritarian totalitarian control to be something boys would want.

At least the right pays lip service before screwing them over. So is more attractive.

Can we switch to put women on the eye?

We are always talking about men being "more conservative" (backed by polls which actually show men are more centrist and women getting leftist) whatever that means* and begin to talk about how women are getting more leftist.

By saying "men are getting conservative" we are implying (not openly stated tho) men are the problem when the reality is that men are actually on the center and women on the left. Why don't we talk about women instead?

*Usually when someone is talking about getting more conservative, they know that's false. they try to make you think that men are getting more antigay marriage or pro death penalty, when they are actually getting less woke.

It would be nice if they ask about actual policies, they won't , they know when it comes with actual policies young men are more supportive of liberal policies than older generations.

Stuff like this always makes me laugh before I proceed to not remove my adblockers, let alone fully read it.

Real journalism is being investigative. Ask the hard questions. Go beyond the surface.

For this topic what would really matter is a honest and critical reflection WHY are they in despair? How did society fail them so miserably? What went wrong?

But of course everyone here knows the answers, and everyone understands why no one will talk about this in public.

From the gynocentric world view, to the misandrist societies, everyone here could write books upon lists.

The word "despair" is also a misnomer here. They are not in despair. I mean some of them have that too. But what they are - and increasingly become - is fed up with a system rigged against them, discriminating against them, leeching of them, and then the dystopian "Oh let us just change language and move the goal posts forever and tell you that you should actually like this". NO. Not buying what you have to sell.

And that is just for gender issues, we haven't gotten started with the things men value that are not directly tied to gender topics that has been shit all over in the recent past that they are also not approving of. "apologize for existing and you disgusting istaphobic father, grand-father, etc. ... you istaphobiuc scum. You oppressing, patriarchic, blablabla, borders don't exist, history does not exist, countries don't exist, don't you dare be proud of anything. Be more welcoming towards the millions of people that don't share your values and stab, shoot, blow up, r**e and and all that people in your country (which by the way is really your fault), - but hey man. Could you also enlist into the military here and go and risk your life for the rest of us? We really need someone on those battle ships and in the trenches while the new comers go out with your wife." - yeah no.

Bonus funny points for the idea that men voting a certain way is a problem though. Should be happy. Those still care. And trust me on that one - you will wish this was your only problem in a not too distant future.

I didn't leave the Democrat party, the Democrat party left me. I just assume that all men who support the Democrat party do not actually understand what the Democrat party represents, or they do and they're willing to throw all other men under the bus for power or pussy.

The Republican party has zero respect for men, they view other men as disposable. Period.

From a Men's Rights perspective I cannot support either party.

The numbers showed young men only 0.2% more conservative whereas the numbers for the younger ladies shot up by 0.23%, a 10X larger number. It is more of a shifting of the Overton Window. Fake news.

It's really not that big of a push if you look at the actual numbers. The paradigm is shifting to the left, and some men aren't going left as fast as the others, which makes people point at them and call them right wing.
