No they are not. Only difference is that they are not actively hate and blame ordinary man, not belittle their struggles and told their nature is toxic.

When one side is so actively hostile, other side seem better by doing nothing.

No I don't think they pander to men. Rather, men (according to the 2024 election) were attracted to the party likely because the Democrats ran a campaign focusing on marginalized groups, leaving straight males somewhat in the dust. It's thought Kamala Harris nominated Tim Walz solely to appeal to straight male voters, which I thought was pretty interesting.

No. What's happened is, the left hates hetero men. Hetero men got the message, and went to the group that has not expressed that they hate hetero men.

It's quite simple.

Then, after these men left the left, some people on the right have been talking about why this has happened, and reveal that the hate for hetero men on the left stems from radical feminists who now run the party.

Republicans do not care about men's issues - at least broadly. There are some who speak out about the hostility of the culture towards men, but they're basically still gynocentric. I appreciate that they at least understand the basic division of the sexes, and I think stoicism and clarity about our biological and social imperatives as men is valuable, but at the same time they place almost no expectations on women and their view of what men should be is essentially that joke about the married couple "she makes all the small decisions like, what we should eat, where we should live, and what we should spend our money one. I make all the big decisions, like whether we should go to war."

Politicize? Yes. Pander? No. I think those are different in a way. Republicans or conservatives elsewhere in the world don’t really need to pander. I think a lot of their ideas come naturally to men and that’s generally where they’re going to go.

The democrats pander to men. Especially when they hired a woman to help them speak to men. They’re also thinking about kicking out david Hogg as DNC chair.

Of course you’d get different answers. I’m fairly certain if you went to an ask women or ask democrats sub they’d have a different opinion. They’d most likely say that conservatives play into men’s emotional biases and that we’re all a monolith.

For example, Trump hit the podcasts hard this last election. He went to Joe Rogan (a center leftist), Theo Von (independent I think), and Adin Ross (right). He hit podcasts with different views and perspectives. Mostly men watch this, but women also view Theo and Joe. Kamala Harris went solely for the far left female viewers on The View and call her daddy podcast. She wouldn’t even entertain Joe Rogan even for an hour. There is probably other better examples but this is the best I could come up with.

In the sense of appealing to men's issues and needs? No. In the sense of appealing to men's desires for home, family, and stability? Kinda. Republican-style pandering really only appeals to a narrow window of Traditionalist mindsets, which is, in light of the changes happening in the party, utterly idiotic.

Democrat policy has been thrown for an utter loop, as they embrace insanity after insanity, throw Constitutionally guaranteed rights under the bus, and openly preach hate to large chunks of the electorate- remember when Biden directly admitted, on-air, that he intended to choose his Vice President on the basis of race and sex, and then went on to pick one who'd been absolutely shredded in the primaries?

Were the PR/advertising wing of the GOP even slightly competent, the Democrats would be a historical footnote alongside the Whigs. Instead, we get major snits made about Harry Styles posing for a magazine cover while wearing a dress (because rock stars challenging gender norms has never happened before, and David Bowie is just a story parents tell their children to scare them) and Dylan Mulvaney becoming the spokesperson for Bud Light (because, uh... dem dere transsexuals drinkin' all our light beer?).

The Victimhood-Worshiper mindset, though, sees EVERYTHING that's not unquestionably for it as not only absolutely against it, but united against it (more victimhood that way), and so anyone who doesn't conform in any way is bad in every way (which is how we get phrases like "the black face of white supremacy").

Not that it hasn't happened, but I don't recall hearing a single politician address male loneliness nor blame feminism for it. I've heard talking heads talk about that, I've heard YouTube personalities talk about that, but never a politician; never someone running for office.

I think the Republican Party, at most, has been willing to state "Men in this country and around the world have value, have a purpose, and are not the enemy of society." I think many on the left, mostly again talking heads and YT people, but even a few politicians, disagree with that statement.

And that's all it takes for many. Affirming to people "You have value" and "you're not to blame for things you didn't do" isn't controversial and isn't pandering. But, if a side actually BELIEVES the opposite, then any opposition to that belief will look like pandering to them.

I think the radical left, including the men, hates men so much that they can't imagine anyone feeling differently.

Both republicans and democrats both ultimately answer to women's 56% control of suffrage, so neither party panders to men.

On the other hand, the trend over the last several decades has been that republicans ignore men/men's issues while democrats actively demonize men. I know which side is better for me.

Feminism is an easy scapegoat and a favorite target for conservatives (most of which are going to be male head of household - ruler decision maker gets 2 votes out of that instead of 1). Of course they play up anything that can possibly make men feel some kind of way about feminism
