I don't hate women but I don't feel obligated to prove it to progressives like those either. They're all ideologues, I doubt an informal poll on /MR is going to sway them anyway.

They don't care if you actually hate women or not, they don't care if we are actually right wing or not, they don't care if we have sex or not . It's simply discrediting/ridiculing of the pesky MRA movement because we don't agree with their ideology.

I don't have to prove I don't hate women because I advocate mens rights anymore than I have to prove I don't rape children just because I'm out in a park or than I have to prove I'm not a crazy-ass murderer just because I walk on a quiet street at night.

People should assume I'm a decent human being. If they start with the presumption that because unrelated condition X I might be evil Y, I don't have any interest in talking to them.

This might seem weird to some, but...

I'm not good at hating people or holding grudges. I'd have to make an active, determined effort to hold a proper grudge.

I don't hate women. My favorite person is a woman.

It would be far more accurate to say that I'm very frustrated with the actions and attitudes of certain women.

Dude, just abandon the thread. No point in arguing with people who think a single blog post represents the feelings of an entire group (and yet that logic somehow doesn't work against their own group). D&D has gone from a forum where you need actual citations and arguments to simply ranting about Marxism like an evangelical. They banned all the Republicans after the election and that's what you get as a result.

You have nothing to prove to those people. Feminists have always made false accusations, its not so long ago that it was usually "abusers lobby", "small penis", must be gay" (as if there is something wrong with being gay or having a small penis) ...

Think of it like you are in a room with a bully, there is no right answer.

I don't hate all women; I do choose not to associate with some people, women and men.

Some opinions are not worth the effort to confront - you cannot change stupid. Better to focus attention upon those who are not sufficiently aware of the issues some men face and let the chaff fall by the wayside.

Try doing this with a throwaway instead, that way people aren't reluctant to upvote due to them not wanting to enable karma whoring, or then you could make a poll and post it here. Also consider the fact that this sub often gets brigaded and that those same people probably would take the opportunity to make us seem like bigots and nothing else. I'm afraid you can't get any accurate results in any way.

And yet, by your own admission, you’ve been submissive towards women your entire life. This is not a coincidence. You, like a lot of men, myself included, were raised to seek approval from women. Approval seeking behaviour pretty much guarantees you’ll be bullied by many of the people you seek approval from, because their withholding of approval makes you try harder to win it, and with carefully judged cruelty they can push your buttons and have you jump through hoops for them, just for a laugh.

That is why feminists are so cruel to “nice guys”, and why they call men like you and me “misogynists” – not because they think it’s true, but because they know it hurts, and they are bullies. We want women’s approval, so the last thing we want to believe about ourselves is that we hate women – so the more we try to prove our good will, the more they call us misogynists, and the more we redouble our efforts to prove our good will, and the more they call us misogynists… why stop, when pressing the button keeps producing the goodies?

Male approval-seeking behaviour enables feminist bullies. Someone’s got to break the cycle, and it’s not like they’re going to do it. That’s what “opting out” is about – but if you can avoid approval seeking without opting out, all the better.

But why would someone use INRB? It sounds to me like what they are saying is: "Look. I know what I am saying is going to sound racist to you. But I actually have a non-racist reason for saying it. And so you reply "Hahahaha! He really used the 'look I know what I'm saying is going to sound racist to you you're going to jump to the conclusion that I'm a racist and not hear me out in fact maybe you've been trained to assume...' line! What a racist! Point and laugh, everyone! POINT AND LAUGH!"

And of course "sexist" works just as well as "racist" here, even though the latter is more familiar

I think they are ultimately more important to the survival of the human species (of which I am a subscribed member).

I just think that if we're going to live in a society together, then we need to learn to treat each other as equal partners, and that means focusing on the issues that affect us too.

honestly I think a lot of MRA's hate men, granted most the MRAs I've seen were from /pol/, but still there is a good amount out their that do.
