I was talking to this girl who is homeless and she is a intelligent and goal driven individual. We talk for a couple weeks and I offer to buy dinner one day. Big mistake. So the day rolls around and she messages me and says "hey before we go out to eat can you drive my friends to the store?" I almost said yes but I barely know this girl. Let a lone enough to be in a car full of strangers. I just worked a 9 hour shift and I wanted to eat and go home. I told her no. I am uncomfortable driving people I don't know to the store. There are obvious reasons for that. I show up to where I was supposed to pick her up and she didn't respond. The next day she goes on Facebook and says that "how can I be comfortable going with you and you won't let my friends be around you, not even for a second?" Completely leaving out the fact that I was asked to take her friends to go on a complete grocery shopping trip that I didn't know 10pm at night which was asked at literally the last minute. So here I am now. Simple gesture from offering a homeless girl a nice meal and conversation to a greedy unfriendly rapist who had ulterior motives the entire time. Don't give people a inch. They will take a mile.
