The first and easiest step is to just listen. A surprising number will let you know what you're dealing with by using phrases like "men are pigs" or "patriarchy" or such. Then you can save yourself the trouble of setting anything up.

I remember some feminist mentioned that there was a recent-ish study that surveyed feminists and their views on men, and supposedly that survey showed the majority of feminists surveyed had an overwhelmingly positive view of men. I asked them for this supposed survey/study but didn't get a response back. Don't know if this is relevant to this post but an interesting thought. Maybe someone else here can somehow find that survey.

Don't be trying to do "tests". Just listen, watch, observe. You'll generally figure that stuff out fast enough ... and generally even more so if you're well paying attention. Also keep in mind it may vary somewhat over time and circumstances - so even if you did some short(ish) test or set of tests, that may not be very useful anyway. So, yeah, if you've only known her a day, most all bets are off. Known her solidly for a year or more, you likely already have a pretty darn good idea, and don't need "tests".

There have actually been studies that have shown an “empathy gap” between sexes. They basically asked both men and women to react to emotional stories of men and women. Both women and men had a similar empathetic reaction to stories of women, however while men felt the same general empathy to the stories of men, the women had a far less empathetic reaction towards the men’s stories.

They even gender swapped a handful of the stories, and the data came back the same, Men were empathetic towards men and women, women were generally only empathetic towards women.

Now I don’t know where to find these studies, I had read them on this subreddit maybe 6 months ago.

I made the testicle argument in college. There's endless footage of guys getting ghost in the bits for laughs. America's funniest videos had a bit shot every week. Imagine if we laughed at baseballs hitting tits.

Yeah…. I don’t agree with this because this is unnatural. You’d need to be very clever to test women and have them not pickup on this.

I think a better judge is to look at what they think about the concept of women manipulating or using men. That one test should tell you everything you need to know.

Eventually every one of us sees how the women in our lives view this. Most selfish or narcissistic women think manipulating men is okay and actually promote that as empowering. Stay away from these women. They are more likely to use men, divorce men, view us as disposable, etc. they lump all men together and can’t recognize there are good men. They have no respect for good men.

A really empathetic women would find manipulating men as disgusting as we are supposed to find men that manipulate women. They wouldn’t just say they believe in equality. They would practice it. These are good women because they are good faith partners and can show empathy. They recognize they can’t just do whatever they want and have to respect your standards too.

Agree with the sentiment, although I think there's a better way of doing this than to do all that. This is what dating is for, getting to know someone. That's how you learn someone's values, not by being coy. A simple question on men's mental health will answer every question you have. Being upfront is always best for anything. There's no point in sneaking around. If you feel like you have to do that, there's a good chance they're not for you. Usually, there are plenty of signs. You just have to know what you're looking for.

What I see most often in young men is the failure to acknowledge and act on the data and feedback from failed tests.

I also think it's a lot easier and less complicated than what the OP suggests, and doesn't require you to play any games:

Ask questions.
Listen to her answers.
Pay attention to her actions.
If 2 and 3 don't match up, move along, just another lying woman, dime a dozen.
Otherwise, enjoy. You won't have much trouble finding empathy in a person who is straightforward and honest about both their opinions and themselves.

Again, #4 above is where I see young men struggle. There's no point in any test if you're not ready and willing to make decisions and act on the results.

How about sharing something “ vulnerable “ ( but not really ) and acting kind of sad or down and see what their reaction is. Or even something as small as saying “ I had a hard day “ , and testing their reaction. Also you can test the reaction for us you’re feeling sick or even pretend to loose your job and see the reaction.

Another one I came across was caring about depictions of violence against women but not about violence against men.

One instance was in gta5 another was in the deadwood TV show. Different women on each occasion.

This wasn't a test though they showed this on their own.

I will answer because I do have opinions on these subjects whether it is testing or not!

Getting kicked in the groin is very painful. I am a female and I did get kicked in the groin by a female. I accidentally ran over her foot with a shopping cart. I knew that would be painful but it clearly was an accident and I apologized to her. I know had it been me I would have screamed.

I thought since a male has an outward parts opposite to a females inner parts of course it will hurt him way more. I still knows that it hurt even though I don't have a penis. But lately men are getting their penis cut off that makes me feel sick and sad. But the offense done to him could have been resolved better.

There has been 23 cases and I am concerned that it's growing number of angry women out there. Men need to be careful.

Abuse of anyone is horrible on both sides and bullying others is a sure sign of it. We need to speak up more but I think that some may be afraid to confront someone when they are angry because the person could turn on you to hurt you. The police should be called. The person should be held. Males should be defended just how we defend females. Do we have to only defend in an act of war when they fight on behalf of our countries? Think about it?
Not for circumcision and I think it should not be done as a baby. I think if they have to do it for religious reasons wait till you can actually see it to not have an accident like this one. After hearing about David. This shouldn't happen again. David shot himself in a parking lot. 😪

I may be a woman and I am not a feminist. I was raised to respect men. We may not agree on everything or with each other. Everyone deserves to feel safe.

But if we use our scruples we can learn how to avoid certain situations because our world is full of pain right now. I look all around me and it just hurts to see how angry and hurt others are.

I don't think we change others as much as we can deal with our own selves first. It's something I am trying to do myself.

I was hurt by a lot of males in my lifetime but I was also helped by other males too. But I can't take things out on all men.

I may have certain disagreements but we will all have them. But I just hope the battle of the sexes will stop. I don't know all the inner workings other then I would rather support fairness and both sides should have accountability.

If both sides fight each other with urges to get back at each other. That is no good. I hope both sides would work on their personal selves before they hurt others. It's because so often that we do.

Women don’t have empathy. A failed study is used as a claim, and it’s a lie, like all gynocentric lies.

There is zero evolutionary reason for women to evolve or possess empathy.

Women virtue signal empathy but they only really project their lack of empathy onto men, then blame men for not having it.

Women prove, daily, they don’t even understand what empathy is.

Like in all things, romance, sexual and relationship investment, work, etc., is men have the skills and thoughtforms. They have the empathy and the romance. They crave women. Sure it’s pathetic. But it’s not how women are.

Women don’t care about men

That having been said, what does this have to do with men’s rights?
