I was driving home from Bonnaroo, a music festival in Tennessee, with this girl I went to high school with. She is very attractive, smart, and comes from a wealthy family. She was describing how she already determined that she was going to divorce her first husband after 3-5 years and use him as a financial foundation. She then said she would find another husband, repeat the same process, then find a boyfriend and collect from the former two husbands. It was perhaps the most bone chilling and direct manipulation I have ever heard. It scared the shit out of me. The thing that shook me the most was her demeanor, her matter of fact tone. I can only feel sorry for the first two schlubs who fall for her.

At first I didn't see the problem with this as most people evaluate their dates as potential marriage material & being a good parent is part of that.

Then I realized she was only worried about the weekends, thus implying no marriage. Just a sperm donor & a pocket book to fund them.
