So this morning we were chilling in the dinning area of our office and we were talking about random stuff. One coworker was sharing a story about how people in her home town were notorious for getting batshit drunk and would end up sleeping in random public places. So apparently, there was this guy who was carrying around a trolley and would pick these drunk up, take them to a secluded area, rape them and then would bring them back to where he found them. All of his victims were male. We all started laughing at the story until a few seconds later I realized that if the roles were reversed, we would be horrified instead of laughing. I explained why I had suddenly stopped laughing and everybody agreed with me.

This made me realize that men's misfortune is often taken with humour, even unconsciously as I have been in support of men's right for a few years now.

I don't even know what I'm trying to accomplish here, just wanted to share.
