Honestly? It's about time someone did this.

The men's rights movement is talking a lot about issues like acknowledgment of rape of men at all as rape, possibility of female on male rape, danger of false rape accusations, great care in not paining men as de facto predators, and so on.

This is cool and all, but with a push in the right direction someone can easily paint us as outright rape apologists ("They are against our "cis male scum are all rapists and must die" campaign, therefore, they are all rapists themselves"). But that doesn't matter as much as the real problem on our hands.

Rape exists. It really shouldn't.

Now, what can we do?

We can't tell victims to be careful and not have a vagina devoid of fishhooks next time.

We can't just start calling sex between two consenting adults rape.

We can't teach people that men are all rapists, all the time, and it's of utmost importance that the scum gender must learn their animal place.

We can't just repeat over and over and over "rape bad k?" Some people rape because rape bad. Some people don't understand that forcing other people to give consent is rape.

What can we do?

My idea is that we should make campaigns focusing not on the victims or the perpetrators, but the bystanders. Rapists are very easily scared away. Abuse this.
