Reputation destruction is women's go-to. It's like the first punch of a fist fight, but for women they'll make sure it's far more destructive and long lasting than a fight between men would be.

She's 16, still a kid. Some girls grow out of it. The ones that don't, turn into feminists.

If it makes you feel better, I had a similarly bizarre argument around that age.

I think it was in April, 1992-- MTV's 'Spring Break' had a thing taking place at some resort at Lake Havasu. I happened to be watching it and they had two swimsuit contests. One was for women, and it was immediately followed by one for men where they had these beefcake-looking dudes strutting around. There might've been a commercial break separating them, but I don't recall.

Monday, the class feminist was complaining about how "exploitative" it was of women. And she had either not seen the male competition or had deliberately ignored it. Me, I had the temerity to point out that there had been a male swimsuit competition immediately afterwards. You can guess how that turned out.

When you dig into their complaints, 98% of the time they are being dishonest and immature. The most reasonable feminist demands were addressed decades ago. Now all they have left are idiotic, atom-splitting little complaints.

Point out that when women can't afford kids the government gives them money but when men can't they get put in jail.

Yes, that's a tactic some women use to shut down opposition. It's like an octopus throwing up a cloud of ink, to confuse the situation, and allow it to escape. It also makes you out to be the bad guy - literally, to anybody who basically agrees with feminism. Any feminist can always claim MISOGYNY!! at the top of her lungs, and she immediately has allies who will take her side. And, besides, you're just a misogynist black guy, and she felt attacked, and helpless, and she was just defending herself. IOW, it's all your fault.

A guy your age is not supposed to have friends from the other sex whom he has no romantic or sexual directions with - that would require your mental castration. You have no business associating with her or her female friends unless you are inviting one for a date. Girls gossip aggressively, they do this all the time to each other, and because you positioned yourself as one of them they are now gossiping about you as well. Disengage, you don't care about that. Take a basketball and go out and look for guys who are missing a player (or save for a scooter. Or stroll in a bookstore. Whichever works for you). Girls' gossiping and inner manipulations don't concern us, we are boys and men, not girls and women.
