I'm indifferent to the subject. I can understand the negativity associated with porn but I can also understand that it's 'just a job' for many in the industry. Your issues with porn seem more personal, and I think if it makes you feel that way, then you made the right call by cutting it off. It's usually not an accurate representation of intimacy anyway.

I like the fantasy of it, I don't watch vanilla stuff and don't feel concerned at all with porn setting up unreal expectations, because I watch stuff that arouses me but would never do with someone else.

I enjoy it. I'm happily married and my wife watches it sometimes too.

It's never negatively affected my sex life or self esteem or anything. Never felt remotely addicted.

It's just a way to relax for 15-20 minutes every other night before bed.

I think that watching porn is universally unhealthy. Sure there are probably some health benefits to ejaculation but it's not like the only way to ejaculate is with porn.

And the funny thing is that it has almost always a homoerotic component. Think about it - either you watch some naked guy railing someone. Or you watch lesbian action. The only exception is to watch a solo woman

There are many other practices in porn that gross me out. Women are dehumanized in it and for some reason some women think this is peak feminism. It's a huge waste of time in my opinion.
