Men aren't allowed to be afraid of dying. Think about what death is- it's forever, and you only get one life. The average drafted GI was 20 years old...why should a 20 year old be shamed for being afraid to die? I also don't like seeing "well its ok if they dodged the draft because they didnt want to kill, but not if its just because they were rich and could dodge it." Why not? why isn't no wanting to be killed for all eternity a good enough reason?

And the gender thing...if you'd criticize rich boys for being cowards, why not criticize every single woman in that age group for being exempt? It bothers me a little more when it's a woman saying it.
