Is the comment sexist and offensive? Yes but remember that these are the words of a little kid. At age 10/11 I said plenty of stupid things and I'm sure that's true and of most people. While the it's true that the adults in her life should take her aside and reprimand her for saying things like that (especially publicly), the rest of us should have a little perspective and not loose our collective shit the way people did in the GoT sub.

[MILD SPOILER] In the latest episode, there is an interaction that really killed my spirit. It's between her and Jorah Mormont. The guy just looks broken and she looks so arrogant and smug. I used to like Lyanna Mormont but at times it seems that she is just smug for the sake of being smug. I get that she is very young and has a burden on her shoulders but still I don't understand why she is like this...

Same with a lot of female characters like Sansa and Daenerys. I don't remember them being like this. Probably because I read the books and only started watching the show after the books had no continuation...

The whole purpose of Lyanna Mormont is to shame fully grown men. It’s literally her whole purpose in the narrative. A little girl says things that’s adult men don’t, calls people out when adult men are too afraid. And it’s not like the actress is even saying this in a feminist context.

This isn’t the actress saying some sexist thing, this is you reaching so hard it’s pathetic. Grow the fuck up and focus on real issues.
