Good luck enforcing that shit

If the wife works he helps out ... if she doesnt he wont

Works that way for just about all the folk i know

[–]v573v 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My wife is a stay at home mother and our division of labour is divided between typical blue and pink jobs.

I don't do the cleaning and she doesn't do the home maintenance.

If I suddenly started vacuuming my wife would not see it as a spontaneous act of helping her out - I would be sending her a message that's she's incompetent; I might as well call her lazy and set up the bed in the guest room while I'm at it. I can emotionally abuse my wife by doing her tasks around the house.

Something I learned early on - if she complains about being swamped with housework my response must be vocal praise and not helping hands or she'll run around doing all of her jobs at once - that was a shitty day.

They'd be better off forcing women to stop maternal gatekeeping.

[–]xNOM 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Or just live in houses with fewer throw pillows.

[–]garglemesh42 10 points11 points12 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No, fuck off. People should be able to decide how to divide the work in their own households however they like.

The government's role should not be to legislate how much housework is done by each person inhabiting a given residence.

If they ever did put laws like this in place, it would just be used by women to pile up even more charges against a man she's decided she doesn't want anymore. What, you think men would be able to use it to make complaints against women that aren't doing their fair share? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No.

[–]geniice -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You appear to be responding to a headline and an express headline at at.

If you look at article its talking about paternity leave. Traditionally men's rights groups have favoured men seeing their kids from time to time. Is this no longer the case.

Aren't men the ones that invented the dishwasher and all?

[–]rottingchrist 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

And other household appliances, the birth control pill, safe childbirth that drastically reduced the mortality rate for both newborns and those who birthed them, and pretty much everything else.

And they are rewarded with killallmen, #MaleTears, boys are stupid throw rocks at them, all men are rapists and all hetero sex is rape, cry me a river for all men who killed themselves, etc. by the self-proclaimed "empathetic sex".

[–]Throw5545556 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The dishwasher happens to be one of the few female inventions.

Of the inventions you've probably heard about. Women invented the dishwasher, the rolling pin, disposable diaper, windshield wiper, liquid paper (tippex) and kevlar.

Damn near everything else was invented by men.

http://sodiumpolyacrylalte.weebly.com/who-when-where.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Donovan

the dishwasher of today is nothing like the simplistic dishwasher Josephine Cochrane invented. the disposable diaper was just plastic that was not invented by a woman. think washing machine from that time. women are good at taking inventions and changing them for their needs.

I cannot imagine how these women would handle a 70 - 80 hour work week ( which is highly common for someone going for a career ) or perhaps even up to 100 hours ( common if you start your own company ) if they complain about some chores. A lot of career men are single for a reason and that is they do not have time to maintain social contacts with the work and the chores they have to do. I have been through 80 hour work weeks myself ( scientific career ) and I didn't start blaming others for the choice I made myself. It was hectic, it was stressful but it is the choice I made using my own freedom. The problem I see with these people is that they want everything. They want a career, they want a family, they want prosperity and they want a busy social life all at the same time. You simply cannot have everything at the same time.

The practical limit for useful working hours over a sustained period is around 38 and the legal limit within the EU is 48. Sure you can pull longer periods for short time periods but quality of work drops off pretty fast.

So glad that the EU has such important issues to deal with like husbands not doing enough housework.

It's not like there's hordes of migrant men coming into the EU right now, and raping their women or anything like that.

Remember, White Male Patriarchy is always responsible for all rapes.

Always.

[–]Kirril 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

EU has such important issues to deal with like husbands not doing enough housework.

The feminists have seized control of western European countries through bi partisan support of right and left politics.

The problem, from their pov, began when white men freed black slaves.

Feminists fought against black male rights every step of the way. About black male voting rights they said that 'never before have men raised former slaves up over their own women'.

Feminists, failing to stop the emancipation of their slaves, intend to enslave all males of all colors.

there's hordes of migrant men coming into the EU right now, and raping their women or anything like that.

Even a MRM member uses the word 'men' as a slur? You didnt say hordes of migrants but hordes of migrant men as if these hordes being men are somehow worse than if the hordes were of women.

I understand this wasn't purposeful. Its evidence that this reaction of male = bad is built into us all through our education systems and culture.

PS: We should use these migrants. They are a potent weapon.

[–]mjoraque 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Notice how even a MRM member uses the word 'men' as a slur? You didnt say hordes of migrants but hordes of migrant men as if these hordes being men are somehow worse than if the hordes were of women.

Fair enough. I didn't even realize until you pointed it out, but it's a great point.

Man and Men are basically slurs nowadays.

Calling someone a white cis-male is the new N-word.

Thank fuck! If this thread is anything to go off, White Males are fucking idiots who can't work out that they're being misled by the fucking Daily Express. Viva la femalution!

[–]Kirril 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

White Males are fucking idiots

This sub is males of all colors and ideologies who share a single common belief that men deserve rights, rights that feminists like yourself are keen to deny us.

Viva la femalution!

In the feminists temporary victory in the west they have sown the seeds of their own destruction. I don't know if mras have the will to win but if they do they can win. One of the best strategies is to use un programmed men from the middle east against feminists. The left will support ME men while feminists will not. This will split the feminists and the left that the feminists parasitize and force the feminists to ally fully with their natural bedfellows the traditional conservatives the rightwing and the fascists being that feminism is a form of fascism.

The tradcon and feminist political entity that results will be easily isolated mocked and defeated.

Real equality can be instated where rights and responsibilities between men and women are shared, unlike feminism which gives all rights to women and all responsibilities to men and unlike tradcon which gives a few rights to women most rights to men and all responsibilities to men.

[–]TheMotownSong -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How dare you! Am I fuck a feminist - I think they're nearly as mental as you lads. What they do have is something legitimate to moan about, even if it isn't the holocaust they portray it as. What you lot have is crying every time even the most trivial measure tips over to 51% for the girls.

[–]geniice 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

So glad that the EU has such important issues to deal with like husbands not doing enough housework.

They aren't. Its about paternity leave which may be kinda important. If kids see their dads more they might grow up to be slightly more useful citizens.

It's not like there's hordes of migrant men coming into the EU right now, and raping their women or anything like that.

That doesn't actually fall within the remit of the EU parliament. Are you proposing it should?

[–]mjoraque 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

That doesn't actually fall within the remit of the EU parliament. Are you proposing it should?

Are you saying the EU government should do nothing about rape of European women by migrants?

[–]geniice 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I'm saying that they don't have the legal power to. The various issues are either reserved issues for the various nation states (law enforcement) or for the council of ministers (some bits of immigration policy). Are you proposing that some of these powers should be transferred to the EU parliament?

[–]mjoraque -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Are you saying that the EU has no legal power to stop rape?

If the EU cannot stop the rape of it's own citizens, what's the point of giving it any power.

Thank you for explaining to me the absolute horribleness of the EU as it is now.

If the EU refuses to protect women from being raped by migrants, then the EU can be scrapped.

[–]geniice 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Are you saying that the EU has no legal power to stop rape?

I'm saying that the memeber states have not agreed to give it that power.

If the EU cannot stop the rape of it's own citizens, what's the point of giving it any power.

Well the initial European Coal and Steel Community was designed to prevent war between member states. Might be considered a laudable goal unless of course you are in favour of war. Later iterations have been about free trade.

Thank you for explaining to me the absolute horribleness of the EU as it is now.

If the EU refuses to protect women from being raped by migrants, then the EU can be scrapped.

Refuses? Not a question of refuses. That suggests it has been offered that power. Governments don't like handing over law enforcement powers and haven't offered to do so (probably the most notable case being the UK were any attempt to do so would result in the government losing the next election)

[–]mjoraque 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Amazing.

So the EU can force men to do more housework, but they can't stop the immigrant rapists coming into the EU.

What a joke.

[–]geniice 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Amazing.

So the EU can force men to do more housework

Nope but the express can lie about things. See how it works?

[–]mjoraque -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

So what did the Express lie about?

Was it something to the extent that no rapes happened in Cologne and it was a New Years without any incident?

[–]geniice 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

So what did the Express lie about?

That the EU wants force men to do more housework. The EU is discussing paternity leave. Employment law is something they do have a fair bit of involvement in and its impact on the extent to which men see their kids could well be considered a legitimate interest. Perhaps you feel otherwise. Perhaps you don't care about men's rights.

[–]mjoraque1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

So then you're saying this is a lie?

One barmy proposal states European governments should adopt new laws to "encourage men to become more involved in housework and caring for dependent relatives", alleging lazy husbands are holding their wives back from having successful careers.

[–]geniice1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yup. That text never appeared in the actual report (on external factors that represent hurdles to European female entrepreneurship (2015/2111(INI))). Gripping reading.

The only actual law changes the relivant section of the repport suggests are "mandatory paternity leave, non-transferable parental leave" so fathers getting to spend more time with their kids. Devistating for men's rights I'm sure.

[–]mjoraque1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Just to make clear, is it that the statement is a lie, or it didn't appear on the report, or both?

[–]geniice1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Well in absolute terms the statement is a lie because the report is just a report. The EU has decided nothing. The statement is also a lie because it isn't consistent with the report.

Don't get married.
Problem solved.

[–]Lethn 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Feminists just keep giving me more reasons not to get married at all, I'd love a relationship, but signing a marriage contract seems to be the equivalent of signing yourself over to slavery at this point. Extreme yes, but not out of the question when you actually look at the ridiculous laws that are enforced purely against men.

I'm not a fucking red piller or MTGOW either, I'd love a long term relationship with a woman but marriage just isn't worth it.

[–]Sortarius 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You don't read The Red Pill, do you?

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Not really no lol :P

[–]Sortarius 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Then how do you know you don't agree with the Red Pill philosophy?

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Because I've seen a couple of those MTGOW and Red Pill sites elsewhere and they genuinely don't give a fuck about women and that's putting it nicely, whereas I do, by the way, marriage and associating with women are two very different things, yet idiots keep trying to act as if the two are always together.

You can still have a relationship with a woman and get along with them without marriage if you have a pair of balls and are prepared to stand up for yourself.

[–]Sortarius 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

MGTOW sites =/= MGTOW, as Red Pill sites =/= Red Pill, as MRM sites =/= MRM.

If you are looking at sites purported to be Red Pill, or MGTOW, or MRM, and assuming they speak for everyone on the corresponding Reddit forum, or assuming that they even speak correctly to the theory behind each movement (especially without doing the research firsthand)... That's foolhardy.

If you want to understand your enemy, you must first learn from them. The Red Pill reddit is mainly a forum for sexual strategy. There are many faulty people on the sub who genuinely hate women, as there are people here who hate women, as there are people who are feminists who hate men. Primarily, the things they say may seem crude and not very PC (intentionally), however, there is some solid science supporting the TRP sexual strategy portion of the sub.

By the way...

You can still have a relationship with a woman and get along with them without marriage if you have a pair of balls and are prepared to stand up for yourself.

This is one of the core truths TRP preaches.

I agree, so long as she goes out and gets a job making half the money for the family, does (and pays for) half of all the house and property work, grass mowing, auto repair, yard equipment repair and maintenance, clearing clogged drains, snow removal, storm cleanup, tree trimming, bush trimming, wood cutting, gutter cleaning, and home maintenance, repairs and improvements and such.

When marriage rates plummet que up the laws severely penalizing men for not getting married.
