FM Tom Altobelli, ordered the dad's contact to be restricted to letters and birthday cards. Why? The Mother had the delusional belief that he was a child sex abuser.

The judge's letter cannot be opened until the children turn 14. They are now 11yo & 6yo girl.

I'll go out on a limb here and suggest the Mother's delusional fear would have been immediately cured by the judge by threatening to give sole custody to the father. And how can be in the best interest of the child to isolate them with a nutter?

What a complete disgrace, pox, herpes and syphillis on the family court. All the mother has to do is think the father is bad.

Altobelli in a decent age would be living outside the city walls cleaning the leper's latrines

This is adding insult to injury. He accepts that there is something wrong with the mother and that any further interaction with the mother would be bad for the father. He then concludes that the best course of action is to award full custody to the mother. Now I want to hurt something.

This is one of the most disgusting things i have ever read. The mother convinced herself that the father molested the daughter after The grandmother saw a clairvoyant who predicted the non existent assault. And this disgusting Judge didn't have the guts to make a real decsion and writes this disgusting "letter" to ease his conscious. How does he think this will go? They children will be told by their mother for years that the father molested them by the time they are 14 the damage has been done.

Having read the article – which includes portions of the judges letter to those kids, I can only understand his apparent decision by making the following assumptions:

The judge, Tom Altobelli, is a sociopath, selecting the option to do the maximum harm to the maximum number of people. The children’s mother is delusional, and the judge says so himself ( indirectly ) but he also claims she is the best guardian for them. It makes no sense unless he intends to create the maximum damage in the children’s the father’s and even the mother’s lives.

On the other hand, he may be insane – because he holds two contradictory ideas – expressed in his letter – that although the mother is delusional, she is the best guardian for the kids.

He also seems to think that the children are the owned possessions of their mother, and that the father is a bystander who, by unfortunate coincidence has some emotional attachment to them.

Can it be that the judge is somehow profiting, or being paid to do this much damage?

Its psychotic any way you slice it.
