It seems like this year, people obsessed over spotting male athlete’s dick prints in their shorts. Especially with that one pole vaulter who hit his crotch on the pole, and now many people are talking about his dick in a gross, sexual way. He was literally just a 21 year old athlete who was trying to have his moment in the Olympics, and now the whole world is sexualizing him. His Instagram is flooded with people sexually harassing him in the comments and I can’t imagine how many weird DMs he’s getting.

This whole issue is very creepy but of course nobody cares because he’s the wrong gender. Imagine if it was a female athlete and everyone was talking about how tight her pussy is? That would rightfully get shut down, but this is somehow completely ok.

I posted about this on the askgaybros subreddit and most of them told me I was making a targeted attack against gay men even though I myself am gay and have posted on there before. Apparently some of them think that if you speak out against male athletes being objectified, you are attacking their very identity as gay men. Definitely not a great look…
