Another reminder that Milo is not an MRA, he's just an attention-whoring member of the alt-right. He's good for calling out feminism, but he's definitely not a champion of gender equality. His act is wearing on a lot of people too, last week he posted a picture making fun of a fat guy at the gym and even most of his followers thought it was wrong.

The Breitbart article argues a priori, listing reasons for women to be less efficient as soldiers.

Your run-of-the-mill military is less intellectual, and will simply put women in combat and see how it goes.

So, straight from the horses mouth.

In order to avoid reprimands from equality-obsessed politicians, the military has to lower standards to allow women to serve in combat roles. This has already had deadly results.

I find this particularly funny since they have already done this for firefighting and police and yet you don't see these women complaining about that.

My brother led a predominantly female squad of convoy drivers in Iraq. It was technically a noncombat MOS, hence all the female drivers getting shunted into it, but they sure did do a lot of shooting, being shot at, and lifting heavy objects in hostile situations. He says "I don't mind working with females. I just wish they'd kick out all the fatties, they're fucking worthless in the heat."

Yeah, he kind of ended up completely contradicting himself here, this was a pretty fail post on his part. What I think it does show is that a lot of women don't have any motivation to join the military or fight and I don't blame them, it's an unpleasant thing to do for a living.

The idea though that this automatically makes women a bad choice for combat though is daft, there will always be exceptions. I do think however that they should never ever lower standards for women because that really does put people at risk. Going to the Kurds, I've watched a number of documentaries and one of the people there were saying they had found women were better at sniping because they generally had more patience than men, I found that quite interesting.

The draft is conscription, lets not sugar coat it, it is easily one of the most stupid ideas you could ever have as a leader to think it would work sending unmotivated soldiers into battle especially if they don't even want to train to fight to begin with.

Now physical ability to do the job and the draft are two different subjects, I don't think women should be prevented from volunteering to go to the frontlines at all and if they pass the tests the same as men then it's not an issue but I think the worry about the standards being lowered is very understandable. People who get their jobs or go places because of quotas are likely to be utterly fucking useless in any field let alone the army.

In today's military, it isn't about muscle mass. There is very little hand to hand combat. Wars are fought with technology, and women are equally capable of handling that technology.
