That figure on jail is identical in misleading...ness as the figure on the wage gap. Same time same crime? Who knows. Do they count crime history. Negotiating sentences? Maybe men choose higher punishment crimes.

If you're going to make a point, do it right.

This pisses me off so much because the biggest criticisms I have of feminism are the falsehoods and distortions of fact. This chart presents misleading and false data in the exact same manner. As for misleading evidence, yes the suicide rates for men have been shown to be higher than women, but that can be most attributed to the fact that men tend to be more successful in their suicide attempts than women. Displaying the statistic on its own as a counterargument to male privilege is misleading and does not show the full story. By far the most egregious aspect of the chart is the homicide victims statistic, simply because what is shown is completely false. Literally every source I could find showed men as approximately 74-78% of homicide victims. Sure, it's disproportionate, but nowhere near the bullshit 93% to 7% shown in the graph. Looking through the comments, I see that pretty much every statistic shown has at least some element of deceit or disingenuousness. This blatant lying to further personal beliefs is quite frankly disgusting, considering how critical the men's rights movement is whenever feminism does this, it's good to see most people are being critical of this.

The "average jail sentence" one is kind of misleading when presented in a vacuum. Do men and women commit the same crimes?

And yes, I'm aware that men get longer sentences for the same crime.

You realize that there less women in the military right? So common sense dictates there are less casualties. Also you see these charts everywhere but where are you getting this information? Just because you see a chart if something doesn't mean its actual facts

This chart is getting out dated. In order to representing present day and coming years you'll need to add college attendance, as well as, discrepancy in scholarships and grants. Also, hiring preferences and filling company quotas. Not to mention support & attendance campaigns, government assistance, and privately and publicly funded health & wellness programs.

This chart just represents what happens when you're out there in the workforce, but forgets entirely the infrastructure and support prior to even getting started.

Not to discredit this, but for the jail sentences one, it is true that women get lighter sentences, but on this graph is part of the disparity because more men go to jail on average

(I'm honestly really curious, I support everything it has to say, just wanted to look further, that's all :) )
