I don't understand how the service charge is higher for men.

Also, I'd just buy a woman's ticket, and if they stop me at the door I'd say I identify as a woman, and tell them to check their privilege.

Perhaps they think it's a good money making tactic? Men are more affluent and less eager to complain, ergo; we'll pocket more cash from men who are being dragged along by their demanding spouses/girlfriends.

From a legal point of view, I think businesses should be allowed to set their prices as they wish. However, I would not buy a ticket from a venue that wanted to charge me more for simply being male. I would encourage other men to take a similar line.

The reason it's cheaper is because of the assumption MEN will be buying WOMEN the drinks. Sadly, men will fall all over themselves to do it and that is why this shit continues.
