It’s like that meme about what men are told when they express their frustrations about life (improve yourself, do this, do that) versus what women are told when they express their own frustrations (you’re perfect exactly as you are, men need to be better, etc.).

You have to understand, in all of these rants women are posting they are projecting their own issues. As they become more lonely and desperate they're going to sound even more unhinged. Just read anything from their POV as a confession and it'll make much more sense.

I'm constantly struck by the idea that when I think about emotionally unstable men, I think of things like domestic abusers or holes in walls or school shooters or raging incels. Yet when I think of emotionally unstable women, i think of keyed cars, false accusers and emotional hostage takers.

The point being, like most gendered accusations hurled by woman at men... Their accusations apply more to them. I think that's because narcissists think that the accurate things said about them would hurt our ego as much as they do their ego.

In my experience, men feel emotions more intensely, just one at a time. So we've conditioned ourselves our whole lives to temper ourselves and keep our emotions in check... Again, because when men are passionate, there are consequences, good or bad. When women feel 40 emotions in an afternoon and everyone just puts up with their entitlement and nuisance, that's just a Typical Monday.

 I didn't see that particular post from her. I used to listen to her on YouTube almost everyday and I often joined her livestreams. She seemed very genuine and presented as someone who genuinely cared about people with a desire to help people with their relationship issues so they can live meaningful lives. At some point Sarah made a short video or something and it was offensive to me. I don't remember exactly what it was about and although she seemed a bit condescending in the video I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and just let it go. This kept happening with different things. On occasion she would make a serious video where she was making pointed comments at men without differentiating the undesirable or toxic behavior of some men from being a man itself and it seemed very much like she was using her platform to emotionally rant either her own personal grievances against men who had done certain things or that she did it on behalf of other women who confided with her about such things. I kept hearing comments from her like, "Some of you guys are good guys and if you would just read a book and have interesting things to talk about you'd do much better with women." Perhaps this advice is very good advice for some men but for people who have a lot of information and depth of understanding in many topics who find that people don't care much about what they have to say it doesn't do any good. A person is either interested in what you're interested in or knowledgeable about or they are not. Some women are impressed and turned on by guys that know a little about a lot of things but many women don't give a shit if you have some knowledge or information to bring up every time there's a conversation about anything. I recall that Pearl Davis was talking about women "hitting the wall" in their thirties when they find out that they are not as desirable to men anymore which can be quite disappointing for women who have not experienced that yet. Sarah brought that up and said a few things about it but she declared "there is no wall." It is not difficult to understand everyone is driven by hormones and instinct and that men and women are different in their desires and in their behaviors. Many men dream of being a successful person and having a wife and a family who depends on him. Men are generally attracted to women with certain body types and personalities of a certain age range. If a man wants to have children he will usually find younger women attractive whether he's young himself or a little older. Once a woman gets close to 30 and beyond, although she may still be very physically attractive, a man's desire to start a family with her will start to diminish. It has nothing to do with a how a man judges a woman's character or personality or her achievements, it's just how men are wired to think. Too many women these days think that men value the same things in women that women value in men but they don't. Women are allowed to be attracted to the men that they're attracted to with whatever qualities those men have regardless of how men feel about it and men should be allowed to follow their instincts in who they're attracted to just like women do. Perhaps Sarah is reflecting on her own experience to come to the conclusion that there is no "wall" that women hit when they realize that they no longer get as much attention as they once did for simply smiling, acting girly and being cute. Considering that Sarah is at a time in her life when she is getting a lot of attention for influencing on many platforms I don't think she can fairly say for all women that people will always value them and desire them throughout their lives the same as they always have; especially considering the fact that many times even women don't take other women as seriously when they start to get older. The wall doesn't happen when many people love you. The wall happens when people stop noticing and considering you and the love stops. When I start seeing more and more skin from a woman in her mid thirties on her posts I wonder what her motivations are. Is it marketing to draw more viewers in? Is it to prove to herself and everyone else, "I've still got it!?" I really don't know. There were a few things that Sarah said that didn't sit well with me and I was getting tired of having to contend with my thoughts and feelings on those things every few days. Then Sarah posted some multiple choice survey on YouTube with 4 options; those of which I don't recall. The options she provided really only left two choices: either you could agree with her and choose a corresponding option or you could alternatively choose a self-depreciating option. That seemed very vindictive and manipulative to me. I felt that she targeted that survey at men who had emailed her who didn't agree with things that she had said based on things she was saying around the time. There are many trolls in social media but to direct things at her whole male audience because of negative things from a few men is just wrong. I didn't answer that particular survey. I wasn't going to participate in vindictive games. I no longer felt like Sarah and her general audience and I were on the same team with the goals of being healthy and finding healthy relationships anymore. I unsubscribed. I haven't seen her content since some time last year. I searched her name today to see what she's up to and although I never witnessed her saying what's quoted in this post I am not surprised that the post is here. I wanted to like Sarah and her content but it's not for me right now.
