Sadly, there were a lot of severely biased people in the previous thread who were defending this woman's insane actions. The most common defense was, "Well, the guy said having kids was a dealbreaker. Clearly that meant if she ever got pregnant he would dump her. It's his fault she was scared."

I said again and again that telling someone they should find someone else if they want to have kids someday is in no way, shape or form the same thing as saying, "If you ever get accidentally pregnant, I will morph into a deadbeat and dump you." Others told you the same thing. But those of you saying this continued to insist this must be what he meant in order to absolve the woman of blame.

Well, here you go. In the man's own words:

I told her when we got married that if she ever got pregnant, that I would support whatever choice she made. If with all the protection we used she still managed to get pregnant, I'd accept the consequences and raise the child if that is what she wanted.

Those of you that were intentionally misrepresenting this man's "dealbreaker" statement, now that there's proof that you were as wrong as wrong can be, it might be a good time to do some self-reflection and ask yourself why exactly you were so hellbent on misrepresenting an innocent man's statement to try and vilify him in favor of a woman who has provably lied and betrayed him.

That you would go to such lengths to absolve a woman who clearly did wrong by smearing a man who clearly didn't speaks volumes about your gynocentric bias. You may want to reevaluate whether you really support men's rights and try to understand why you have this bias in favor of women.
