Does anyone else ever feel cheated on valentines day? My whole life I've planned elaborate romantic endeavors on valentines day, but recently I've thought about it. Valentine's day seems to me to be a woman's holiday. The guy is supposed to go all out to make her feel special, but there's no expectation of her to do the same. I was watching The Gentlemen's Rant on it, and one of them says, "you got me a 2.49 cent card and a hug and a kiss, I spent over 300 dollars in less than 12 hours. This is a little one sided." And that sums up my feelings perfectly. Now I feel extraordinarily cheated by the holiday, but feel like not celebrating it would be extremely detrimental to future relationships.
