They're telling us that Presidential candidates need to significantly alter their behavior when in the presence of a woman.

Is that what equality looks like? Is this the end of gender roles? More rules for men, huh.

Look, I believe in being a gentleman. We need to show respect for one another. But, when someone deliberately steps on your toes, morally speaking you are entitled to reciprocate. It doesn't mean you can pull out a gun and blast them. It means you can tell them, "get the fuck off my toes," or if you're the rowdy sort you can step on their toes. It's not wise to escalate, but it's your right to meet like with like.

If you don't enforce boundaries, the boundaries are essentially just imaginary at that point. Jerks don't take hints. It's really a sad commentary on society that basic rules of respect still need to be explained to so many people.
