Many people say to men that we need to cry, show our emotions but the thing is, we can’t. The same people that say cry are the same people that say “sorry you’re being drafted in”, “sorry women and children first”. We as men are the disposable sex. Who has kills themselves the most in the world? men. Who cares? Nobody. Who has the worst mental health in nearly every single country on earth? Men. Who cares nobody. Who lives longer? Women. Who cares that men live shorter lives? Nobody. In fact people make jokes out of it. Who is saved first? Women along with children. Who gets most of the aid first priority in disasters? Women. Men can fend for themselves. Who works the worst jobs? Men. Who cares? Nobody. Who fights all the wars? Men. Who cares nobody.

What these people don’t understand is, it’s a contradiction. You can’t say cry and then say go to war. They are different things. This problem stems throughout society. From a young age boys are told to stop crying while girls are taken care of. In fact this problem stems even further. One big motivation for men to act in a certain way is women. Men don’t buy fancy cars because they like them, they know women like them. Men become rich because they know women like it. Of course there’s other reason as well.

One may say, well does this apply to crying as well? The answer is yes. Women prefer stoic men, ones who don’t cry, ones who can go through shit and not complain, then these are the same women who prefer big strong stoic men. Women saying cry, while preferring stoic men. Is like women saying to men, be shorter, while preferring taller men. It doesn’t work. We men know it, so do they. But they still say it non the less. In the relationship the hierarchy is simple. Men - women - children. The women looks to protect the children, the man the women and children, the moment the man shows weakness by crying, he lowers himself to the level of a child and the women is turned off.

Most of the problems we men face can be drawn back to us being the disposable sex, the illness is disposability, the symptoms are high divide, bad mental health etc…

Society trying to solve the symptoms instead of the illness is like treating HIV by giving an antiseptic for foot infection due to a compromised immune system. Until this changes we men will always have the symptoms. In all of human history we men have know this about women, we can show our emotions to them unless we want to be thought as less of men. So we showed our emotions to our fellow men instead and that is what we should do. In order for this to change society needs to stop treating us a disposable and women need to understand their dating preferences for stoic men is causing us harm indirectly. But they never will.

So find some good men who are friends and show your emotions to them, because no one else cares.
