Yeah most people like attention to some extent. Not full on narcissist, but to an extent.

I had girls hit on me and I turned them down because I wasn't really interested, but the fact they hit on me in the first place gave me a lovely self-esteem boost.

But was it as good as actually fucking a girl you are really attracted to? Not even close.

it's the drug of choice for narcissists and histrionics, but not everyone is like that, or values it as much. some people actually don't like the spotlight; they care about the attention of their significant other and/or good friends but don't care much about attention beyond that. hardcore narcissists and histrionics on the other hand want everyone to think they are awesome. this is why they can get so upset/angry when rejected or criticized (hint: it's not just an anger 'phase')... and might find a system which insulated them from rejection appealing.

I have usually gotten bored of sex after 2-3 months with any given girl, but don't think validation for dudes is as good as feeling your dick inside that tight, wet space and her legs around your torso, breasts right in front of your face.

I dunno. I've been addicted to heroin before. I literally know rushes and pleasure and happiness, etc. As great as endorphins causing dopamine gush around the brain is, it doesn't compare to some other things. I've never been able to like try non-endogenous oxytocin, but honestly cuddling and love can easily beat out sex/heroin. Cuddling up with someone you really care about and having them tell you how much you mean to them can be amazing. Also, just general achievements. Accomplishing large tasks is great. Things like playing your first gig, recording your first album, playing with a band you really admire, etc.

I do have people tell me I look good.... One time someone I sorta fool around with told me that their co workers said something like I was the prettiest person they've met or something like that, which definitely isn't true, I think I'm attractive but I'm seriously nothing special, but hearing that did feel good. I put a lot of work into my look and style and I think its pretty unique, so when people like it, it does make me feel good. But I still think love takes the cake, although achievements can outweigh even that.

Sure , but ultra male feminists also do it for validation from their peers. Same for a lot of stupid political activists , bullies , and small time criminals. That's not really a good justification.

Hint:Lay off the Sluthate, it's a vortex of unending insecurity. Don't dream of what you can't be , try to do what you can do.

If you're legit ugly, (and not , sluthate ugly , like wrong cheekbones =eternal incelness) , just get some money via some STEM job and a mail order bride. I won't judge.Don't listen to "feminists" , they are upper middle class and don't actually know what poverty is.
