No, there's an age difference on what peoples consider as "peoples on dating apps" and "peoples outside dating app".

You can pretty much see the difference when you ask the person age. Old peoples will say that it's easier outside than it's inside app because they're dealing with women that lack options.

I don't believe there is really a distinction between the "general population" and app using population - lots of people have at least used apps once and a lot use them to meet partners/people with some relative frequency. People who never use the apps are a minority at this point like people who have never used facebook or instagram.

There's probably some correlation between these tendencies/desirability but not that strongly at this point. App users are common enough to reflect population averages more than anything.

You can meet people anywhere so I wouldn't say this is strictly true, but it's the easiest and preferred method for people with low sociability or just a smaller social circle - which is a lot of people in modern society.

I think the OP view corresponds with how dating apps were viewed/populated 15 or 20 years ago. Now it's "normal" to use apps.

It’s the same people for the most part. They just act different when on the app vs real life.

Kind of like how people waste food at a buffet, but eat or save every bite of a served dish no matter the size.
