It is probably cause its easy to discuss laws. Whenever someone talks from experience, doesn't matter if red or blue, there will be accusations of anecdote and demand for scientific sources that support observed behavior patterns. Especially when it comes to generalizing behavior of women. With laws, its easier to find reliable material to support your claim.

This sub tends to go in cycles if you hang out long enough. You get back to the same topics and then the same arguments get trotted out. This little round has been very tiresome though.

My response is: whatever it is that the OP finds boring, I want much, much more of that. Hopefully every thread in PPD will be of the kind that will make OP's head swim with boredom.

With luck, he will unsubscribe and we won't have to deal with whining pleas for even more unnecessary censorship on a sub which is already stupidly over-moderated.

Let it run its course I'd say. If the rape/consent discussions are whats trending right now among PPD users then so be it, it's good that people are having these discussions because they are important things thay should ne talked about, even if some like you find it "boring". You're not obligated to partake in any thread or post that doesn't interest you.
